Diego Kang held a press conference that quickly became the focus of media attention. Many assumed he would talk about returning to the entertainment industry, especially after becoming a national hero by helping take down Charles Choi. But the media was caught off guard when he said he was entering politics. Reporters immediately reacted, saying politics is not a joke.
However, Assemblyman Gibok Jan supported Diego and said his ideas could help improve the country. He also mentioned he would like Diego in his own political party.
Daniel Blames Himself
Back in Busan, the aftermath of the fight is clear. Jinrang has finally woken up and found out that three of his closest friends died, including Sang Baek, who was with him since childhood. Meanwhile, Daniel Park is blaming himself for everything that happened. He knew James Lee was trying to manipulate him, yet he still went to Busan.
Jake Kim and others tried to make it clear this was not Daniel’s fault. Jake told him the war is not over, and that this is just the beginning. But after seeing Daniel’s condition, he told the group that he’s going to face Kitae Kim again, whether anyone joins him or not.
Kitae Kim Reaches Out to the Former Circle Members
Back in Seoul, Kitae Kim has already started moving. He called a meeting with former Circle members, including a man known as GentleMan, someone who was part of the pre-generation and used to be second-in-command under Charles Choi’s Fist Gang.
While some stayed quiet during the meeting, the kings stood up to him, including the King of Pohang, Museok Jang, who did not hold back. They stood up to Kitae and made it clear they don’t respect him just because he is Gapryong Kim’s son. King of Pohang even said Kitae is just the result of Gapryong’s lust and nothing more.

Where To Read Lookism?
This release date is for the Korean version on Naver Webtoon, not the English one. The English release on Line Webtoon is still way behind, right now, it is around Chapter 546. Even though both platforms are owned by Naver Corporation, the chapters don’t come out at the same time.
After a chapter is released in Korean, it takes extra time to get translated and edited properly. Also, not every Korean webtoon gets cleared for global release right away. It depends on copyright, contract deals, and sometimes the themes, too.
What To Expect From Lookism Chapter 556?
Lookism Chapter 556 will likely pick up from where things ended in the last chapter. Kitae Kim was being disrespected by the very kings he called for the meeting, Mugeon Jang (King of Samcheok), Seungwoo Han (King of Yongin), Siheon Choi (King of Paju), and Museok Jang (King of Pohang).
All four of them made it clear they were not there to show respect. One of them even said to Kitae, “Oi, get a grip or you will end up like your dead dad.” They were talking about Gapryong Kim, and clearly do not take Kitae seriously, even though they should.
They are Underestimating Kitae Kim Badly
What is surprising is that these kings already know Kitae Kim defeated Jichang Kwak, got him exiled from Seoul, and took over as the King of Seoul. Still, they think they can talk to him however they want. But the thing is, they don’t know the full picture.
The Busan fight happened too recently, and nothing has been revealed to the public. So they don’t know that Kitae also beat Jinrang, even when Jinrang was using conviction mode.
So this kind of behaviour makes sense from the kings’ side because they are unaware of who they are really talking to. But it also shows how dangerous things are about to get.
Two Possibilities in Lookism Chapter 556
There are two ways Chapter 556 could go. The first, and more likely one, is that Kitae Kim kills one or two of them to scare the rest and force them to follow him. That would be in line with his usual approach.
The second option is that they actually sit down and talk, and try to work things out properly. But looking at how things started, and considering Kitae’s personality, that seems less likely.
