No new episode will air on December 29, 2024. The finale, FAIRY TAIL: 100 YEARS QUEST Episode 25, is now set to release on January 5, 2025.
For now, there is no news about a new season. So far, the anime has covered around 87 chapters from the manga, which is still ongoing with 174 chapters released to date.

Gray faces Hakune in the snowy Whiteout Village. She’s freezing everything, even Gray’s magic, and tries to trap him in a fake dream world where everything seems perfect. But Gray breaks out, refusing to give in, and uses his Ice Devil Slayer powers to defeat her with his Ice Giants.
While that is happening, Elentear is falling apart as the Hands continue to spread destruction. Some villagers want to give up and leave, but the Chief Shrine Maiden stops them. She reminds them of their duty to stop the overflowing magic. Faris explains that this chaos is all because of Selene, and defeating her could stabilize everything.
Meanwhile, Natsu and the team head back to Blackmoon Mountain, using Touka’s Aqua Aera spell. They are met with more Hands, and while the others fight the monsters, Natsu and Happy fly to the summit.
But they are too late, Selene escapes through a portal, leaving behind a mess. Suzaku also enters the portal with her to kill her.
Wendy realizes something strange about the Hands, comparing them to the structures used by Tartaros in the past. She figures out that they are all connected underground, which means destroying the main source could end this chaos once and for all.
Lucy calls out Virgo, and Natsu, and the squad uses the hole dug by Virgo to go underground, where they encounter a massive monster called Alta Face. It now wants to destroy everything, thanks to Selene’s interference.
Final Words
Team Natsu is up against Alta Face, and they have to take it down fast. If they don’t, the Magic Power will overflow and destroy everything. While Natsu and the team are fighting, the Whiteout Villagers are doing what they can, holding on to the hope that Natsu can save their world.
But there is more pressure now. Selene is still out there, and Suzaku is chasing her. Natsu knows that if Suzaku beats Selene first, the 100-year quest contract will be canceled. The deal says Team Natsu has to defeat all five dragons themselves, so they can’t let Suzaku take her out. Natsu has to destroy Alta Face quickly and go after Selene before it is too late.
FAIRY TAIL: 100 YEARS QUEST is streaming now on Netflix, Crunchyroll, and Prime Video. The final episode is set to air on January 5th next year.
