BLTV ended up being a major success, and the Neo Egoist League also got huge attention. With that, the final Japan team has now been decided. Ego stands firm on his goal to make Japan victorious, while Isagi also makes it clear at the end that their aim is to win the U-20 World Cup.

This recap is based on the Blue Lock Chapter 303 summary from the leaks circulating on ‘X’, the official chapter will be released tomorrow!

Hirotoshi Buratsuta Wants To Bring Nagi Back in Blue Lock Chapter 303

Blue Lock Chapter 303 opens up with Hirotoshi Buratsuta, the chairman of the Japan Football Union, doing a knee slide into the office, he is that happy with how successful BLTV has been, the union made 78 billion yen through NEL. He then talks to Ego and tells him he is not happy with the fact that Nagi did not make it into the final Japan squad.

Buratsuta sees how big of a star Nagi has become. Back in the early stages of the Blue Lock, Nagi was performing well. He scored the first goal against the previous U-20 Japan team, and after that match, he ranked #4. After round two of the Neo Egoist League, he was ranked #2 in Blue Lock. But after beating Isagi, Nagi lost his drive and his performance dropped badly. By the end of the league, he was ranked #24. Only the top 23 were selected, so he did not make the final cut.

Back in Chapter 300, Ego claimed that Nagi has lost the fire inside him, and there is no point in choosing someone who does not have the will to grow anymore.

But since Buratsuta himself is a fan of Nagi and knows how popular he is in Japan, he wants him back in the team, not just for football reasons but also for the public image.

One of the big confirmations here is that Julian Loki from France is officially going to play in the U-20 World Cup. Earlier, there were a lot of theories that he would skip the U-20 and go for the main World Cup, but now that is cleared up.

Meanwhile, back at the Japan Football Union office, Ego tells Buratsuta that he is the one leading this project, and he will do whatever it takes to make Japan win. Buratsuta warns him that he will be fired if he does not win the U-20 World Cup, and also pressures him to bring back Nagi.

I’m following the plan. I’m building a Japanese national team to win the World Cup. I have no intention of changing the 23 players I selected for that. Nagi Seishiro is not needed.
