Blue Lock Chapter 304 will be released on 27th May, 2025, at 8:00 AM PT (Tuesday) on the KManga app and Pocket Shonen Magazine app. This chapter will also be part of the new volume, Volume 35, since the last one wrapped up Volume 34, which had Hirotoshi Buratsuta on the cover. Volume 34 is scheduled to come out on June 17, 2025. The preview of Blue Lock Chapter 304:
A brief rest with family! Isagi talks about Ego!!
Recap
The latest chapter, titled “Blue Lock Japan” started with Buratsuta being hyped about how well BLTV and the Neo Egoist League are doing. Inside the Blue Lock universe, BLTV crossed 150 million subs, and Isagi started trending. Buratsuta also revealed that the Japan Football Union (JFU) made around 78 billion yen and that the relationship is now strong between JFU and PIFA (their version of FIFA).
But since Nagi is still one of the top stars and not part of Ego’s lineup, the chairman orders Ego to bring him back. Ego refuses. He says Nagi has lost his drive, and he is sticking with the 23 players he picked. No changes. Buratsuta then warns Ego that if Japan does not win the U-20 World Cup, he is out.

Japan Will Host the U-20 World Cup
Meanwhile, the press conference was also shown. Anri talked to the media and confirmed that Japan will host the upcoming U-20 World Cup and that 64 teams will be competing. She also said that their goal is to win it all. Isagi said the same, that Japan will win, and he will be the one to make Japan the hottest place for soccer on Earth. The chapter ended by showing 47 days left before the tournament starts and a short panel of Nagi, alone in an arcade, regretting his decisions.
The boy who acquired an ‘ego’ now sees the world completely differently. That ‘Blue Lock’ is already a distant world..

To read Blue Lock in English, you will need to download the K-Manga app by Kodansha. The app lets you read chapters for free, but the latest three chapters are only for paid users. However, the application is not available in every location, so you need to wait for Kodansha to expand the service.
The series is also available on another platform called “Magapoke“. However, it only has the Japanese official version of the chapters.
What To Expect From Blue Lock Chapter 304?
The final panel of the latest chapter showed Nagi sitting alone in the arcade playing games, so there is a good chance Chapter 304 might focus on him again. A lot of fans are expecting Kaneshiro to bring him back in the upcoming chapter, but based on the way things are going, that does not seem likely right now.

In the recent chapter, Ego clearly said that the 23 players are the final. He also explained why Nagi is not part of the team anymore. Nagi had enough chances during the Neo Egoist League, but he did not grow. After scoring against Isagi and Bastard Munchen, he kind of gave up and got too comfortable. He did not show any hunger to improve and ended up ranked #24, just one spot below the cutoff.
It is obvious he will come back at some point. Otherwise, the author would not keep showing him like this. But it probably won’t happen this soon, and definitely not in a random way. The story is not heading in that direction yet.
Do you think Nagi should return somehow? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
