Shangri-La Frontier Episode 50 (Season 2 Episode 25) will be released on March 30. This episode will conclude the second season. However, the anime has already been renewed for Season 3, and it will likely be announced right after Episode 50 airs.
The Global Game Competition (GGC) Arc is currently ongoing in the anime, but it won’t be wrapping up in this episode. Instead, it will continue into Season 3. This arc is one of the longest in the entire Shangri-La Frontier manga. However, Episode 50 will officially start the GGC tournament.
Recap
In the last episode, Sunraku barely survived the Atlanticus Lepnorca’s massive blast by teleporting to Inventoria at the last second. When he returned, he saw the destruction caused by the attack. Everything around was damaged, except for the Sealing Towers, which were completely unaffected by the blast.
Before Sunraku could figure out a way to beat Ruluiath’s King, the beast attacked him again. But just in time, Araba showed up and saved him. That is when Sunraku realized how to defeat it.
Sunraku noticed that the Sealing Towers could reflect any attack. So, he provoked Atlanticus Lepnorca into attacking him and then teleported to Inventoria at the last moment. Instead of hitting him, the attack struck the Sealing Towers, which reflected the blast back at the beast, dealing massive damage.
Even after this, Atlanticus Lepnorca wasn’t finished. So, Sunraku used Gilta Brille to land the final blow. But before dying, the beast exploded, and Sunraku barely survived.
Sunraku was supposed to log into Galaxia Heroes to train for the GGC tournament before going to bed. But instead, he got caught up in the battle with Atlanticus Lepnorca in the Shangri-La Frontier and lost track of time.

According to the official release schedule, Shangri-La Frontier Episode 50 (Season 2 Episode 25) titled “The Anonymous (Idiot) A-Team, and the Stormy Storm” will be released on March 30, Sunday at 1:00 AM PT in the US.
In Japan, the episode will be available at 5:00 PM JST on the same day. I have attached the full release schedule for different time zones:

What To Expect From Shangri-La Frontier Episode 50?
Shangri-La Frontier Episode 50 starts with Sylvia and her team having brunch. She woke up late in the afternoon since she spent the whole night playing Shangri-La Frontier to see what the hype was about. In the anime, Shangri-La Frontier is only available in Japan, and since it is super popular, Sylvia got curious. Turns out, the game lived up to the hype, and she had a great time.
Meanwhile, Kei Uomi, Rakuro Hizutome, and Towa Amane are trying to figure out what names they should use in the GGC tournament. They throw around different ideas but can’t agree on anything. Since they are stuck, they ask Megumi Natsume to decide for them. She gives Rakuro the name “No Face” and Towa the name “No Name” because Towa is a model and does not want her real identity exposed before the match. Towa also ordered cosplay for her and Rakuro as they did not want to reveal their real identities.
While they are still deciding, Kei gets a call from his sponsor. He finds out that instead of playing Galaxia Heroes, he’s been assigned to a different game in the GGC. Kei really wanted to battle Sylvia in Galaxia Heroes, but now he can’t since he has to play another game first.
Rakuro comes up with a plan that could allow Kei to finish his matches in the other game and still make it in time to fight Sylvia. The plan depended on Sylvia playing the last, so Kei could arrive just in time to battle her. But their plan falls apart when they find out Sylvia is playing third instead of last.
Shangri-La Frontier Episode 50 will cover manga chapters 124, 125, and 126 and will officially conclude Season 2.
