Blue Box’s Success Helped Secure a Second Season

The anime’s popularity, along with strong manga sales, likely played a huge role in getting a second season greenlit. However, the anime faced some challenges on Netflix due to its delayed global release, leading many fans to watch through unofficial sites instead of waiting a week for Netflix.

Despite this, the anime performed well enough to get renewed, and TMS Entertainment is officially moving forward with Season 2. Telecom Animation Film will continue handling the animation.
