Lookism Anime by Netflix was released back in 2022 with just 8 episodes. The manhwa, written by PTJ, was already popular but the anime release on Netflix made it even more popular. It was adapted by Studio Mir, and after it was released, Lookism stayed in Netflix’s top 10 for two weeks straight in the Non-English Shows global charts.
Even with all this success, there has not been an official update on whether Lookism Season 2 is coming yet. Netflix has not renewed or canceled it, and there is no word on it yet.
While we wait for an announcement (though it seems unlikely since Studio Mir is busy with other projects like the Netflix hit Devil May Cry adaptation) you can still catch up on the Lookism manhwa/webtoon for free on the Webtoons app. There are currently 548 chapters out, and the latest Busan Arc just wrapped up with a new arc beginning right after.
Where to Continue Lookism Manhwa After the Anime?
Lookism’s first season on Netflix adapted the first 27 chapters of the manhwa. So, if you want to continue where episode 8 ended, you should start from chapter 28. Just a quick heads up, the art style in the first 100 chapters is a little different from what you will see later on, but it gets a lot better as the story moves forward. And the plot gets way better as well.
Lookism Chapter 28 starts the new arc called the Paprika TV Arc. The anime adapted the first six arcs, which are:
