Blue Lock Chapter 293 Spoilers: Bastard Munchen Wins as Ness Assists Isagi’s Final Goal

As I predicted in my previous article, Blue Lock Chapter 293, titled Birth of a New Hero, ends the match with Bastard Munchen’s victory.

This match against Paris X Gen (PXG) started all the way back in Chapter 249 and now, after 44 chapters, the final match of the Neo Egoist League is over.

(FC Barcha vs Manshine City is still ongoing though alongside this match, however, the match is sidelined because of PXG vs BM.)

Ness Finally Steps Up

Alexis Ness messed up a golden chance earlier, so it was only right that he was the one to assist the final goal.

From the start, he had this weird master-servant dynamic with Kaiser, wanting to make him the best striker in the world. But in Blue Lock Chapter 293, Ness finally decides to break free from that mindset.

Meanwhile, Isagi and Kaiser were in perfect sync, reading each other’s movements without even talking. Their teamwork was so strong that they managed to shut down Rin multiple times and stop him from scoring.

Back in Blue Lock Chapter 292, Kaiser outplayed Rin and started Bastard Munchen’s counterattack. He even won the final gamble pass to score the goal, but Shidou appeared at the last second and stopped him.

PXG took the ball back and launched their own counterattack, but Kunigami shut it down, leaving the ball up in the air.

Blue Lock Chapter 293 Spoilers: Isagi Scores the Final Goal!

Blue Lock Chapter 293 picks up right where the last chapter left off. Everyone was locked onto the ball, but somehow, Ness was in the perfect blind spot with no one from PXG marking him.

Just like the moment in the U20 Japan vs Blue Lock match, the ball landed exactly where it needed to, and Ness was the one who got it. No one expected this to happen at such a crucial moment.

Ness’ Assist

At first, Ness hesitates. His instinct tells him to pass the ball to Kaiser like he always does. But then, he remembers his new goal, he does not play soccer for Kaiser anymore. He is trying to become his own player.

Since no one knows what Ness will do, even Kaiser starts predicting his next move and asks for a pass. But from this far out, a direct shot is impossible for someone like Ness, even with Kaiser holding off Shidou. He has always given easy passes to Kaiser for him to finish and score the goal.

Ness kicks the ball, and Raichi is shocked, thinking he actually took the shot. But then Nanase reveals the truth, it was not a shot, it was a drive pass. The pass was actually a challenge.

Isagi’s Awakening & Final Goal

But here is the twist Kaiser does run for the ball even though Shidou was onto him. Isagi breaks free from Rin and charges towards it. Nobody expected this from Ness either, at first I also thought it was a pass meant for Isagi, but it was not, Isagi went under a mutation again (awakening) and was able to intercept the challenging spin pass.

As soon as Isagi gets the ball, he fires the shot straight into the goal, securing Bastard Munchen’s victory.

A PERFECT YOICHI ISAGI… AND COMPLETELY RENEWED. THE EGOIST HERO, CONTROLLING BOTH HOPE AND DESPAIR!

Just like in the U20 Japan vs Blue Lock match, Isagi steals Rin’s spotlight once again. But this time, they were on opposite sides. The chapter ends with Isagi scoring the final goal, and Rin calling him the “Demon King”. The next chapter’s title is revealed to be ‘Champion‘.
