Supercell just confirmed that their hit mobile game, Clash of Clans, is being adapted into an animated series. The announcement came through a short video skit where a Supercell game designer, Donald Smith Jr, jokes about struggling to come up with content. After chatting with his friends on a video call, they remind him that fans have been asking for a Clash show or movie for years. The video ends with a tease showing the Netflix logo and a Barbarian character, confirming that the animated adaptation of the game is coming.
We’re partnering with @Netflix to bring the war-waging world of CLASH to life like never before. A new animated series has been greenlit and is currently in pre-production. That’s all for now. More details are coming later, but we just couldn’t keep it a secret any longer.… pic.twitter.com/7aODey7e8J
