My Dress Up Darling Episode 13 will be released on 5th July, 2025 at 1:30 AM JST. After almost 3 years since season 1 ended, My Dress-Up Darling is finally back. CloverWorks is handling the sequel again, and just like season 1, they are doing multiple projects this year, including The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity and Rascal Does Not Dream of Santa Claus.
The sequel was officially announced in September 2022, and now everything is ready. Episode 13 will air on July 5, 2025, and it looks like the new season will cover a lot more content from the manga.
Recap of Season 1 Finale (Episode 12)
My Dress Up Darling Episode 12 focused more on the relationship between Gojo and Marin, not just the cosplay angle. It covered the Fireworks Festival Arc and showed some real bonding moments.
Before the festival, Marin nearly drowned at the pool and Gojo had to save her. That whole scene brought out their insecurities. Marin said she can’t swim, and Gojo opened up about struggling to paint hina doll faces properly.
At the festival, Gojo was shocked seeing Marin in a yukata and admits to being the “Neck lover”. During the fireworks, he realized how much she had changed his life. But the real turning point came at night when Marin, scared after watching a horror movie, called Gojo and asked him to stay on the phone. While he was asleep, she quietly said, “Gojo, I love you“.

What To Expect From My Dress Up Darling Episode 13?
The official synopsis says Marin and Wakana will be making a bunny girl outfit for Izayoi Arisa, a killer character from Marin’s favorite anime KochiKame. Gojo is getting more confident at costume making now, but there might still be some challenges ahead.
This also raises questions about the anime’s pacing. There’s a chance they might skip the Shizuku Kuroe Part 2 Arc (Chapters 40 to 43) and jump straight to the Arisa Izayoi Arc, which starts at Chapter 44. If not, then they might be adapting at least 5-6 chapters in this episode.
Wakana Gojo, who aspires to become a hina doll craftsman, and Marin Kitagawa, a gyaru who loves anime and games, have grown closer through various cosplay projects.
This time, they decide to create a bunny girl costume of Arisa Izayoi, a hitwoman from Marin’s favorite anime KochiKame.
