Dandadan Season 2 is officially set to release in July 2025. I was expecting the announcement to happen during the Jump Festa panel, but it got revealed earlier. The last episode of Season 1 airs today, December 19, 2024, wrapping up the first cour with 12 episodes. It ends right in the middle of the Cursed House Arc.
The Cursed House Arc in Dandadan starts from Chapter 28 and ends in Chapter 50, titled “Let’s All Carry Around Hot Water.” So far, by Dandadan Episode 11 of Season 1, the anime has covered up to Chapter 30. The final episode, Dandadan Episode 12, airing today, will likely adapt up to Chapter 35. This episode is expected to reveal the truth behind the evil spirit haunting Jiji’s house.
There was a teaser for Season 2 on YouTube, but it got taken down. From what I remember, it looked like Season 2 would cover the rest of the Cursed House Arc, the Evil Eye Arc, the Kaiju Arc, and part of the Space Globalists Arc since Vamola was teased in the teaser video. I am not sure how they will manage to fit all that into just 12 episodes if it is a single cour.
Maybe that is why the teaser was pulled, or maybe Season 2 will be a bit longer, and it is not just a second cour of Season 1 but a proper new season.
