Dandadan Season 1 is officially ending on 19th December 2024 with Episode 12 titled “Let’s Go to the Cursed House”. So, Dandadan Episode 13 will be a part of Season 2.
At the end of Episode 11, we saw the introduction of a new character, who, surprisingly, turned out to be Jiji Momo Ayase’s childhood friend.
He was also, unknowingly, Momo’s first crush before they lost touch when he moved away. At first, it felt like the story was about to get interesting with Jiji becoming a potential rival for Okarun, but that is not the case.

Dandadan Episode 12 Preview and Synopsis
Jiji actually appeared because he is being haunted. His house is cursed, and he needs help from Momo’s grandmother, Seiko Ayase.
Since Seiko’s powers are limited to her town, she asks Momo and Okarun to handle the curse at Jiji’s house. Jiji also enrolled in the same school as Momo, Kami High, where the two reunite. According to the synopsis of Dandadan Episode 12 shared on the official website:
Momo and Okarun head to Jiji’s house in the hot spring town to investigate the incident involving Jiji’s family. On the way, Okarun is uneasy about the intimate atmosphere between Momo and Jiji, but begins to be attracted to Jiji’s good nature. After traveling through the mountains, the three arrive at Jiji’s house and immediately go inside. Several figures are watching them.

Dandadan Season 1 Will end on a Cliffhanger
Spoiler Alert
With the arrival of Jiji, the Cursed House Arc officially kicked off, and so far, 30 chapters have been covered across the 11 episodes of Dandadan. Based on the pacing, Episode 12 will likely adapt Chapters 31, 32, 33 and 34.
In Chapter 31, we get to know more about that creepy human skeleton guy who showed up at the end of Episode 11. In Chapter 32, Momo, Okarun, and Jiji finally head over to Jiji’s cursed house to figure out what’s haunting him.
Now, from the official episode previews and synopsis, it seems like parts of Chapter 31 might be skipped entirely, or only briefly touched on.
Even with that, there’s no way the anime can wrap up the entire arc in a single 24-minute episode. The Cursed House Arc, after all, runs until Chapter 50, starting back in Chapter 28.
Most likely, Dandadan Season 1 will end with a tease for what’s next, Turbo Granny Neko dropping a warning to Momo about Jiji’s house being real trouble because “it’s soaked in blood.”
On top of that, we will probably get a funny moment when Momo realizes Turbo Granny had snuck into her bag and was chilling in the hot tub the whole time.

Dandadan Episode 13 Will Be A Part of Season 2
As mentioned earlier, Dandadan Episode 13 will be part of Season 2, which is expected to drop in Summer 2025. The announcement came through unofficial Twitter pages that DandaDan Season 2 will be released in July 2025, and well-known leakers have already hinted that Season 2 (or Cour 2) is already in the works.

The Dandadan team is also scheduled to appear at Jump Festa this weekend, so there is a good chance they will release a teaser there, a video of a teaser was uploaded today but was unlisted so I guess they are going to list it again during Jump Festa.

Season 2 will pick up where things left off and adapt the remaining parts of the Cursed House Arc. The Arc is described as:
Momo and Okarun help Jiji, Momo’s childhood friend, to get rid of an evil spirit that is haunting his house. However, they soon discover that there is more to this mission than a simple exorcism.
