Lookism ‘Hunt for Gun Park’ Teaser Released by PTJ Comics

Lookism’s Hunt for Gun Park arc was the 79th arc in the webtoon, starting from Chapter 502 and wrapping up in Chapter 518 back in September.

Lookism Hunt For Gun Park Arc Explained

This was the arc where Gun Park got arrested after going all out against the second-generation fighters and the four major crews, just to protect Charles Choi’s red paper, the one thing that could destroy Charles Choi’s life and company.

Gun stayed loyal till the end, took the fall for everything, and never betrayed Charles Choi, even though Goo Kim, his friend turned against Charles Choi and even tried to kill Gun Park.

Eugene wanted to take down Charles Choi, so he gathered all the remaining crews and even made a deal with James Lee, the legendary first-gen fighter, to help with his plan. This mission also included hunting down Gun Park, capturing him if possible, but if not, then killing him.

By the end of the arc, a huge secret was exposed, Charles Choi had connections with the Yamazaki Clan. Once this got out, he had no way to escape, and in the end, he took his own life.

Right now Lookism is in the Busan Arc (the 81st arc) but PTJ just dropped two new teasers for Hunt for Gun Park.

It is a bit surprising since this arc ended months ago, but it turns out the teasers are actually to promote an upcoming pop-up store for the webtoon.

The Catch Gun pop-up store is opening soon, and PTJ Comics is running a pre-registration event where people who sign up and share the event on social media have a chance to win postcards. Only 20 winners will be picked, and the results will be announced via DM.

If you are still hoping for an anime continuation, this teaser is probably the closest thing for now. Netflix adapted Lookism into an anime in 2022, but since then they have not renewed or canceled it. The studio behind the adaption was Studio Mir.

And because they hold exclusive streaming rights, no other studio can work on it either, at least for now.
