Will Blue Lock Chapter 312 Start the U-20 World Cup?
Blue Lock Chapter 312 will likely officially start the U-20 World Cup. Blue Lock Chapter 311’s ending revealed that there are only two hours left before the first match. We might finally see the full squad, team formation, and the starting captain that Ego picked. Japan’s first match is against Nigeria. They are placed in Group A, with upcoming matches against France and England.
Hopefully, we will see the pre-match setup against Nigeria, final team talks, and even the start of the match against Nigeria. We might also get another scene showing the SIDE-B players or Buratsuta’s media plans for his selection.

Recap
Blue Lock Chapter 311 started with the final training session/drill. Isagi was focused and told Hiori to pick up his pace. Karasu did not like it and called him out for being too strict. Aiku calmed things down and reminded them to work together. Rin mocked Isagi by calling him a “pretentious demon king.”
Then, Buratsuta appeared and revealed the plan for the last three spots in the squad. One is already taken by Itoshi Sae, who will only join during the knockout stage. The other two will be decided through a new test called Blue Lock Japan Last 2: SIDE-B.

This selection includes 300 players who were either rejected or never picked, including Ryosuke Kira, the first person ever eliminated in Blue Lock Chapter 2.
His return breaks Ego’s rule, but SIDE-B is not part of Ego’s system, so Kira is eligible. But Ego confirmed that he won’t let the Side-B players play on the field. At the end of the chapter, we saw Nagi at Blue Lock.
I will risk everything to make Japan win the World Cup. Until this Ego comes to life, Blue Lock won’t be handed over to anyone!
Ego
Another reveal is that Nagi seems to have joined the Buratsuta 3, too, after his chat with Igaguri helped him refocus. The current Buratsuta 3 are:
- Itoshi Sae (confirmed)
- Ryosuke Kira (most likely)
- Nagi Seishiro (pretty much confirmed)
Just a little longer before the first match! Walking towards the arena step by step, the genius’s ego is……..
