Lookism Chapter 543 is finally out, and what fans guessed has now been confirmed. The fight between the three kings, Taesoo Ma (King of Ansan), Gongseob Ji (King of Daegu), and Jinrang (King of Busan), continued, and this chapter made it clear that Jinrang is not just another king.
Back in the Shiro Oni arc, there was a hint about someone being Gapryong Kim’s disciple, but it was not revealed who it was. Still, many fans figured out that it had to be Jinrang, and now it is officially confirmed in the latest Lookism Chapter 543.

Who Was Gapryong Kim in Lookism?
Gapryong Kim was a legendary figure in the pre-generation era and the leader of the Fist Gang. He was known as the strongest fighter in the entire Lookism universe. After the 0th generation, he left the Fist Gang and moved into politics.
Even though his fight was not shown, it was revealed that Gapryong Kim’s Fist Gang defeated the Yamazaki Clan.
This was a big deal because the Yamazaki Clan leader, Shingen Yamazaki, had both Ultra Instinct (UI) and True Ultra Instinct (TUI). Despite Shingen’s insane power, the Fist Gang crushed them, leaving Shingen weak and defeated.
Jinrang’s Connection to Gapryong Kim
In Lookism Chapter 527, it was mentioned that Gapryong Kim was in Busan to meet his disciple. Around the same time, he found Gun Park, who had collapsed near the shore after escaping Japan.
Shintaro was hunting Gun, so Gapryong Kim helped him by sending him to a juvenile prison, where he could train safely without being targeted by the Yamazaki Clan.
The Yamazaki Clan became weak because of Gapryong Kim’s Fist Gang. So they tried to create a stronger fighter to beat him.
They wanted someone with Reverse Eyes to take over as the leader of the Yamazaki Clan. So, they made sure their future generations would have kids with Reverse Eyes.
Gun Park was one of those kids. He was born with Reverse Eyes (UI), which made him extremely powerful. But instead of fighting Gapryong Kim, he ended up being saved by him.
Jinrang turned out to be the disciple, Gapryong Kim came to Busan to meet that day.
Gapryong Kim’s Family and His Death
Gapryong Kim had a lot of kids, but so far, only Kitae Kim (King of Seoul) and Jake Kim have been revealed. After Jake was born, Gapryong Kim got a vasectomy, which means Jake is his youngest child.
Later on, Gapryong Kim was murdered, but no one really knows the full details. PTJ (the author) hinted that James Lee and Kitae Kim are involved, but nobody knows who dealt the finishing blow.
At first, it was said that James Lee killed a politician, but they never said the name. Later, Eugene blackmailed James Lee, saying he had proof that James was actually the one who killed Gapryong Kim.
But instead of exposing him, Eugene framed someone else for the murder. This was part of his deal with James Lee to help Eugene take down Charles Choi and Gun Park in the Hunt For Gun Park Arc.
Was Jinrang Framed for Gapryong Kim’s Murder?
At the start of the Busan Arc in Chapter 531, James Lee calls Daniel Park and tells him about Jinrang. He reveals that Jinrang has been in jail since the first generation days.
The exact timeline is not clear, but it could be from the time when Gapryong Kim was murdered. Since Jinrang was Gapryong Kim’s disciple and was close to him, he might have been wrongfully arrested as an accomplice in the murder.
Jinrang absolutely hates James Lee, and that is why he is fighting the Allied and the Kings. He sees Daniel Park and his allies as James Lee’s lapdogs.
He has more than one reason to hate him. First, there’s Gapryong Kim’s murder. Second, while Jinrang was in prison, James Lee came to Busan, crushed the Jinrang Gang, and took their body parts, just like he did with the other first-generation kings.
That was the end of the first generation and the start of the crew era under Charles Choi. And third, if Jinrang was wrongfully convicted while the real killer, James Lee, walked free, of course, he would want revenge.
Jinrang Took On Two Kings at Once in Lookism Chapter 543
Lookism Chapter 543 starts with Taesoo Ma (King of Ansan) and Gongseob Ji (King of Daegu) fighting Jinrang.
A lot of people from Busan showed up to watch the fight. The kings and Daniel Park tried talking to Jinrang, but he was too angry to listen.
As the fight began, there was a flashback of a conversation between James Lee and Daniel Park. James admitted that he had never actually seen Jinrang fight, but he had heard rumors. Based on those rumors, James believed Jinrang was the strongest among all the kings.
Jinrang is known as “The Wolf” because of his fighting style. His elbows are like fangs, and they do serious damage to anyone he hits.
At first, he managed to land some solid hits on both kings. But then Gongseob Ji and Taesoo Ma decided to go all out, and suddenly, Jinrang was getting overwhelmed.
That’s when everything changed. Jinrang adjusted his stance, and the entire battlefield froze. Only the second-generation fighters did not recognize it. That is because it was Gapryong Kim’s stance, proving once and for all that Jinrang was his disciple.

A flashback showed Gapryong Kim. Then, Jinrang used one of Gapryong Kim’s moves, Overcome, against Gongseob Ji. The chapter ended on a cliffhanger, with Jinrang landing a powerful punch, and behind him, a shadow of Gapryong Kim appeared.
The fight will most likely continue in Lookism Chapter 544. The chapter will be released on 27th February, 2025.
