The Mission in Gifu in JJK Modulo Chapter 3 Spoilers
JJK Modulo Chapter 3 spoilers begins with Usami telling the group that they need to travel to Gifu. A “man-eater” has appeared, and the strange part is that it is not in Tokyo.
For decades, these incidents only happened inside Tokyo, so Tsurugi (Yuta’s grandson) immediately grows suspicious. He believes that the aliens arriving on Earth may be linked to these new cases.
When they arrive, witnesses describe a shark that moves through the forest. Soon, the group comes face-to-face with the so-called forest shark.
Tsurugi is ready to fight, but Maru warns him about the risk of starting a forest fire with his weapon.
Nagata and Toranosuke
The battle quickly takes a twist. The shark turns out to be a disguise worn by Nagata, a retired sorcerer.
He reveals that the real man-eater is not him but his family’s pet tiger, Toranosuke. The tiger was once a guardian of the mountain, but has now turned into a cursed spirit.
Nagata admits he lured people to the tiger because he could not bring himself to kill the creature that had protected his family for generations.
Nagata even tries to sacrifice himself to end the curse, but Tsurugi does not let him and exorcises the tiger.

Maru’s Secret Revealed
After the fight, Maru finally tells Tsurugi more about himself. He explains that his true mission is to see if aliens and humans can live together.
He also reveals that he has a twin brother, and their powers are connected. This is the reason Maru has been holding back in battles.
If he uses too much power, it will affect his brother, and he fears that humans will only grow more wary of them.
Maru apologizes for not helping more in the past, but he makes it clear that he trusts Tsurugi enough to share the truth now.
The Tiger Cub Shows Up
Just as things settle, the team discovers that Toranosuke left behind a cub. Nagata, who had lost hope, now finds new purpose in caring for it.
JJK Modulo Chapter 3 closes with Tsurugi and Maru realizing that, just like the cub’s future, their own path (Future) is still unknown.
