Dandadan Season 2 Episode 4 titled “‘That’s way deadly” is finally out, and it moves us closer to the end of the Cursed House Arc. This episode picks up right where things were left off, and Seiko finally makes her entrance to help everyone stuck in the middle of this chaos.

Momo Tries to Stop the Spring

The episode starts with Momo confused about the volcano erupting, and she then comes up with a plan using the worm’s body.

At first, she thought the prophecy was about the worm, but she realizes it was actually referring to the fountain.

The fountain was a sign that the volcano was going to erupt. She turned the worm into a giant tube, as an earthworm is basically one big tube from mouth to butt.

After loading the worm with water from the hot springs, she starts spraying the water in the area.

Even though this plan did help, the area was too big to cover using Worm’s body. She was exhausted and running out of options.

The Kito Clan Interferes Instead of Helping

Instead of helping, the Kito family blames Momo for angering their beast god and even changes their god.

Their head even tries to fight her and says that she is going to make Momo a human sacrifice to Lord Volcano’s Wrath, thus changing their god from Serpent to Volcano.

That is when Manjiro, the shrine priest, shows up. He reveals that he trained under Seiko Ayase. He tries to hold off the Kito family so that Momo can continue her plan.

Evil Eye Returns and Breaks the Defense

While things are falling apart, the Evil Eye shows up again, still using Jiji’s body. It easily overpowers Manjiro and cuts through the Mongolian Death Worm using the grudge ball, completely ruining Momo’s plan.

It starts attacking everyone around and even corners Momo. She tries to fight back but gets pushed into a corner. She is close to collapsing, and there is no backup left.

Dover Demon and Seiko Arrive

Just as the Evil Eye is about to finish off Momo, the Dover Demon flies in. It is the same alien ship seen earlier in Dandadan Season 1, and it interrupts the Evil Eye’s attack. Seiko Ayase is also on board.

Seiko comes down with Taro, the living anatomy model, and immediately takes control of the situation. She quickly understands the state of the fight and tells Taro to act as a vessel to contain the Evil Eye.

Taro charges toward the Evil Eye to hold it physically. At the same time, Manjiro starts chanting the sealing spell. The plan was to trap Evil Eye both physically and spiritually at once.

However, Evil Eye then punches Taro so hard that his entire body breaks, but that was also part of the plan. He uses the broken pieces to engulf the Evil Eye completely.

Seiko’s plan works. With Taro locking Evil Eye’s body and Manjiro sealing its spirit, the Evil Eye is trapped inside Taro. It is not dead, but for now, it is sealed and no longer an immediate threat.
