The Hayashi Performers, also called Brave Force, are a professional rock band of musical exorcists introduced in Dandadan Season 2 Episode 6.
They are brought in by Seiko Ayase to help remove the Evil Eye from Jiji’s body after an earlier attempt at exorcism fails.
Hayashi Performers in Dandadan Season 2 Episode 6 Explained
The Hayashi Performers are specialists in a very unusual type of exorcism. Unlike many characters in Dandadan, they do not have spiritual awareness or psychic powers. Instead, their heavy metal music has a supernatural effect that can interact directly with spirits and yokai.

Spectral Resonance Ability
Their main technique is called Spectral Resonance. When they perform the song/music, the sound waves connect with the spiritual world. This allows their music to weaken or repel hostile spirits.
The Performance to Remove the Evil Eye
Seiko decides to hire the Hayashi Performers after a simpler ritual fails. The Evil Eye’s connection to Jiji is too strong, and Momo and the gang were unable to exorcise it using normal methods.
The band’s high energy performance is meant to directly attack Evil Eye and break its hold on Jiji.
During the ritual in Dandadan Season 2 Episode 6, they perform their song Hunting Soul.
The Hunting Soul song performed by the Hayashi Performers begins to weaken the Evil Eye’s control over Jiji. However, it also draws the attention of other spirits from a nearby graveyard.
Why Seiko Stopped The Ritual?
As the Evil Eye started to lose grip and leave the body of Jiji, Jiji asked for the ritual to end. He felt sympathy for the spirit after learning about its tragic past.
Seiko decided to stop the ritual and instead look for another way to manage the possession, and even said the Evil Eye will be a part of her family from now on.
Although the exorcism was not completed, the Hayashi Performers proved that their technique works.
Before leaving, they told Seiko and Momo they could contact them again if needed and provided Momo with their business card.
