Blue Lock 309 Spoilers: Team Reunion and Final Training Begins
Return to Blue Lock After 14 Days
Blue Lock Chapter 309 begins with a narration saying that the U-20 World Cup is near, and the battle to survive starts now. As revealed by Anri in the recent chapters, Japan is going to host the U-20 World Cup.
Isagi is seen leaving home after his 14-day break. His parents say goodbye, and Isagi goes to Blue Lock again, saying it is the place of dreams. Now, only 30 days are left until the tournament.
Players Reunite at Blue Lock
Once Isagi returns, he runs into Bachira, who jokes about his height. Rin joins in too and says he grew a bit. We see the full team gathered. Bachira, Rin, Karasu, Hiori, Aiku, and Barou all return. Ego greets them and says the 14-day special training is over. Now, they are not the same players they were before.
Ego’s Message and New Mission in Blue Lock Chapter 309
Ego tells the team that each of them has gained a new weapon. He makes it clear this is not just about Blue Lock anymore. He says to forget ideas like playing for the team’s sake or bonds. Everyone should chase their own ego.
Then he adds, he will use them to achieve his dream, and in return, they can use him to reach theirs. His words feel like a reset.
U-20 World Cup Group Matches Revealed
Though they were already revealed by Sae in the previous chapter. Ego announces Japan’s group for the World Cup:

He says the team will now enter final training camp and that he will rebuild them in these 30 days into a new egoist team.
Nagi’s Thoughts After Rejection
The second half of the chapter focuses on Nagi. He remembers rejecting Buratsuta’s offer and starts questioning his choice. He says if he had taken that deal, it would have been a betrayal of Blue Lock and himself.
A flashback appears of Buratsuta trying to tempt him, saying they can take over Blue Lock together. But Nagi refuses. He says if soccer stops being his own thing, it is not worth becoming a villain for.
Nagi’s Conflict
Nagi remembers what Isagi told him, not to quit football. His schoolmates also asked if he is going pro. He admits he still has a chance to go pro even without the national team.
He starts asking himself: Is he okay with that? What does he really want? Is it soccer or Blue Lock that makes him feel alive? What is his ego calling for?
Igaguri Returns, Confronts Nagi in Blue Lock Chapter 309
Just when Nagi is deep in thought while playing in the arcade, Igaguri appears. He also got eliminated from the Neo Egoist League and sees Nagi sitting in front of the Arcade.
He calls Nagi a lazy pain to deal with and says, “I have been looking for you” while using his fingers to form a gun. Nagi is surprised and says, but it ends the chapter with a hint that something new is coming for both of them. Igaguri played for Bastard Munchen in the Neo Egoist League, while Nagi played for Manshine City.
The next chapter title has been revealed to be “Just Quit Already”. Blue Lock Chapter 310 will be released on 8th July, 2025.
