Taiki Visits Chinatsu in Blue Box Chapter 207
Blue Box Chapter 207 starts with Taiki visiting Chinatsu’s apartment. He brings her souvenirs from the Kyoto class trip as she had asked earlier. When he enters, he finds Chinatsu cooking dinner with Karen waiting nearby.
Chinatsu is making stir-fried ginger pork while Taiki offers to help, but she says she is fine. Karen starts teasing Taiki, whispering if he will get to see Chinatsu in an apron forever once they are married.
Chinatsu Becomes Jealous After Hearing About Hina and Taiki Being Alone
Taiki tries to bring up Karen’s boyfriend Haryu, saying he is good at cooking too. Karen avoids the subject, which makes Taiki realize something is wrong between them.
Karen then mentions that Ayame told her about Taiki missing the train. When Taiki explains he missed it because of Hina, Karen says it was the right thing to do since Hina would have been left alone.
This makes Chinatsu jealous, something Karen points out openly. Chinatsu admits it herself and accepts that she felt it in the moment.
Haryu and Karen Relationship Drama
Eventually, it comes out that Haryu has been busy preparing for his exams, and Karen feels lonely because of it. She admits she wants him to succeed, but also misses him deeply.
Chinatsu records this moment and sends it to Haryu, who calls Karen right away and promises to meet her. It was a small but needed push for their relationship.
The Almost Kiss Interrupted By Karen
After Karen leaves, Chinatsu and Taiki finally get a quiet and alone moment together. Chinatsu opens her arms for a hug, and Taiki tells her that if she ever feels unhappy, she should tell him directly.
She says she is not like Karen and will always share how she feels. As they lean in to kiss for the second time in the series, Karen suddenly returns to pick up her forgotten phone and teases them to lock the door next time.
Haryu and Chinatsu are Graduating
Blue Box Chapter 207 ends with Taiki visiting Haryu and handing him souvenirs. A look at the classroom blackboard shows only fifteen days left until graduation. Nishida casually eats the snacks Taiki brought and asks to play badminton again, which Taiki agrees to.

This chapter slows things down after the awkwardness at the end of the Kyoto trip. Instead of continuing the drama with Hina, it changes attention back to Chinatsu and her relationship dynamic with Taiki.
Karen and Haryu’s subplot added a grounded touch to the chapter. It showed how relationships also face challenges because of real-life priorities like exams and time apart.
Moreover, it also showed that despite Chinatsu and Taiki being the main characters of the manga, Kouji Miura is still showing bits and pieces of side characters life as well.
The almost kiss getting interrupted again might feel predictable, but it keeps the slow build of Chinatsu and Taiki’s relationship consistent with the manga’s pacing.
The graduation countdown signals a new arc is about to start, with big changes ahead for all the characters as they will be promoted to the next class while the 3rd years will be moving to college.
