My Hero Academia Vigilantes Episode 5 will be released on 5th May, 2025 at 11:30 pm JST, Monday, on Netflix and other streaming platforms. In the previous episode, Koichi continues his growth both in the field and during sparring with Knuckleduster, while Kuin Hachisuka (Queen Bee) tests a stronger Trigger injection on a junkie, who turned into a giant purple monster and ends up wrecking the city. However, Knuckleduster arrives just in time and manages to stop him.
Meanwhile, Koichi meets Ingenium during a morning walk, learns how to properly control his Quirk, and earns an offer to join his agency, only to be told later he has already found a place where he belongs.

Akira Iwako Shows Up Again in My Hero Academia Vigilantes Episode 5
In My Hero Academia Vigilantes Episode 5, we can expect more focus on Pop Step’s backstory. While Kazuho Haneyama (Pop Step) is known as a popular idol, not much else is known about her character so far. She is a celebrity, loved by both young and adult fans. She joined Koichi Haimawari and Knuckleduster after they saved her from a dangerous situation, forming a team of three vigilantes. Together, they are on a mission to uncover the source of the dangerous ‘Trigger’ drug.
Despite being part of the team, Pop Step is hiding something from Koichi. While Koichi believes they have met for the first time in Episode 1, the truth is they have crossed paths before, which will likely come to light in the next episode.
Meanwhile, Akira Iwako, the villain from episode 3 who was defeated by Knuckleduster, returns in episode 5. After being released from jail, since he was a victim of the Trigger drug and not a true criminal, he is exposed to a new version of the Trigger drug by Queen Bee. This leads to another confrontation with Koichi. But just as the battle escalates, a new vigilante named Stendhal intervenes. The question is whether Stendhal is truly a vigilante or does he have a darker side? My Hero Academia Vigilantes Episode 5 will start the Stendhal Arc and introduce this new character into the story. The episode’s synopsis has already been released as well:
Pop Step, who always acts tough and struggles to be honest with Koichi, actually has a past event that she has not yet shared with him. Meanwhile, in the city, the villain Akira Iwako, whom Koichi and the others previously captured, appears again. Iwako is now under the influence of a more powerful version of the “Trigger” drug and goes on a rampage, overwhelming Koichi. However, just when things seem hopeless, someone suddenly appears…
