Dandadan Episode 13 Release Date and Time Confirmed: Kito Family Appears as Momo Fights Alone

Dandadan Episode 13 will be released on 3rd July 2025 at 1:00 a.m. JST on Crunchyroll and Netflix. The first three episodes (13, 14, and 15) have been shown in theatres as part of a compilation film called Evil Eye as well. Dandadan Season 1 ended on a huge cliffhanger and covered up to chapter 33 from the manga, including the first six chapters of the Cursed House Arc.

What Happened in Dandadan Episode 12?

Momo, Okarun, and Jiji visit Jiji’s village. On the train, Okarun gets annoyed seeing Momo and Jiji getting along, but does not say much since they have known each other for a long time. Even then, Jiji and Okarun keep arguing about silly stuff during the ride.

When they reach the village, Momo gets excited about the hot springs and asks if the volcano nearby is safe. Jiji says it has not erupted in 200 years. On the way to his house, Okarun senses something strange in the forest but decides not to say anything. Once they arrive, Momo does not feel any ghost energy, so she thinks it’s nothing serious. She heads to the hot spring to relax while Jiji and Okarun stay back and kick a football around. They end up fighting again, this time about who likes Momo more.

Meanwhile, Momo starts feeling weird in the hot springs while she is alone in the hot springs and tries to leave. But some creepy men suddenly show up and stop her from leaving. Back at Jiji’s house, Okarun and Jiji find a hidden room covered in talismans with a small hole in the wall. At the same time, those men at the hot spring push Momo underwater.

Dandadan Episode 13 Preview and Title Revealed

The official title of Dandadan Episode 13 is “This is the legend of the giant snake”. The story continues right after the end of Season 1. The official synopsis has been released as well:

Okarun and Jiji discover a hidden room with talismans plastered all over the ceiling, walls, and floor. At that moment, the intercom suddenly rang, and when they opened the front door thinking it was Momo, they found Naki and the other members of the Kito family standing outside. Meanwhile, Momo was being attacked by the Kito men in the open-air bath and was in a difficult situation…

Dandadan Episode 13 will reveal more about the curse in Jiji’s family and why the villagers are behaving strangely. The conflict with the Kito family begins properly in this episode, and based on the pacing, it looks like this arc will be more action-focused compared to the past episodes.
