Blue Lock Chapter 322, titled “Myself,” continued the match between Japan and Nigeria, with only 15 minutes left on the clock. Ego Jinpachi decided to end his experiment. He substituted Chigiri and Hiori, bringing in Raichi and Kurona, shifting the team into a defensive 5-4-1 formation.

The story then moved into Isagi’s flashback, showing how his ego began. The flashback took place 44 days before the World Cup, when Isagi was studying world soccer matches during his break from Blue Lock.

But through Blue Lock, and facing other egoists, Isagi found that fire again. He realized his true drive, his curiosity about himself.
The chapter ended with Isagi rediscovering his hunger for growth, saying he wants to live on the battlefield of soccer to keep finding new versions of himself. In the final moments, Raichi and Kurona dominate possession and pass the ball to Isagi, who outruns Bello, declaring, “Gimme that soccer stimulation”.
