Netflix released the official trailer for The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity along with the Japanese release date and new visual. The manga by Saka Mikami has sold over 5 million copies as of June 2025. There are currently 152 chapters available across 17 volumes.
CloverWorks announced the anime adaptation less than a year ago. The studio has experience with similar shows like Spy X Family, Horimiya, My Dress Up Darling and Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai. Since these anime share slightly similar themes with The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity the studio knows how to handle this type of content.
The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity will release on July 6 in Japan through Netflix. Other regions will be able to watch it on July 13.

But the Netflix release schedule will likely create the same issues we saw before. Fans outside Japan will have to wait a week longer than Japanese viewers.
