BLEACH TYBW Part 3 To Wrap Up with a 1-Hour Finale Featuring 2 Episodes

The team behind Bleach TYBW Part 3 titled ‘The Conflict’ announced on Monday that Part 3 will end with a 1-hour special finale on December 28.

Originally, Part 3 was planned to have 13 episodes, but it’s now confirmed that episodes 13 and 14 (episodes 39 and 40 overall) will air together as a double-episode finale. This brings the total number of episodes for Part 3 to 14.

Both Part 1 and Part 2 of Thousand-Year Blood War also wrapped up with double-episode finales, so this keeps up the trend. Right now, 11 episodes have been released of Part 3, with the latest being episode 37. Bleach TYBW Episode 38 will be released on 21st December 2024.

The title for Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War episode 38 has been revealed as “Friend”, and it will introduce two new voice cast members as well. Chiaki Kobayashi will voice young Bazz-B, and Marina Inoue will voice young Jugram Haschwalth.

This episode was originally supposed to air before Mayuri’s fight with Pernida but was skipped. Now, it looks like the story will go back to showcase the battle between Bazz-B and Jugram. It will be the adaption of Bleach Chapter 633-34.

The episode will also confirm whether Lille Barro is really dead after being hit by Nanao Ise’s Zanpakuto ‘Shinken Hakkyoken‘ divine deflection attack.

There is not much revealed about the final part. However, Tite Kubo did talk about Bleach TYBW Part 4:

In the 4th cour, there will be entire episodes where people might be like, “I’ve never seen this!

The above statement confirmed that there will be more anime-only scenes in Part 4.
