After the recent Lookism Chapter 557, everyone who reads Lookism is now thinking about what if Gun Park fought Kitae Kim? Both are top-tier characters in the Lookismverse, but very different in how they fight, how they think, and what they want.

Fun fact about Gun Park: He was literally born just for one purpose, to fight Fist Gang and help the Yamazaki Clan rise again. After his father, Shingen Yamazaki, lost to Gapryong Kim and became lethargic, he gave up on everything. So the whole reason Gun even exists was to bring that power back. There is a likely chance we will see Gun Park vs Kitae Kim in near future.

Kitae Kim Is Now Confirmed Main Villain

Kitae Kim was first shown back in Chapter 496 during the Cheonliang Arc when James Lee was going after the kings. Kitae helped him take down Jichang Kwak. Before that, he was only mentioned, and even in the Cheonliang arc, he showed up very briefly.

But ever since the Busan arc, Kitae Kim is now a regular and one of the top villains in the story. He destroyed all of Daniel’s team in Busan. Zack, Vasco, Vin Jin, all Allied members, were easily defeated.

He nearly killed Jinrang and even cut off his arm. He also murdered No. 5 and No. 6, who were both strong enough and equivalent to mid-tier kings. Right now, no one alive in Lookism feels as dangerous as Kitae Kim.

His Past in Mexico Explains Everything

Kitae Kim spent years in Mexico fighting cartels and killing people. His entire life has been about survival, power, and spreading fear. So, he is used to killing. He does not hesitate. He is also much older than most of the cast and has far more experience. Right now, apart from maybe Shingen Yamazaki (Gun Park’s father), there is no one more violent or brutal than Kitae.

Gun Park Was Sidelined for a While

Gun Park was a central figure in the series, but has not been that active after the Hunt for Gun Park arc, as he was sent to jail. He made his return recently in Chapter 557 when Daniel visited him in prison. His past was shown in the Shiro Oni arc, where we learned about his younger days and why he stayed loyal to Charles Choi.

Gun came to Korea from Japan while running from the Yamazakis, and Gapryong Kim found him. He sent Gun to a juvenile prison for protection, where he met Charles Choi. That is when everything changed. He became one of Charles Choi’s top ten geniuses and vowed to protect Crystal Choi and helped Charles Choi’s businesses grow. Even when Goo betrayed Charles, Gun stayed loyal.

Gun is not a hero. He helped Charles Choi build the Four Major Crews and even helped him get rich. Most of the chaos in Seoul was also his doing. But at the same time, we now know he had reasons. The Shiro Oni arc explained why Gun stayed loyal and why he never turned against Charles, even after everything.

Hunt for Gun Park Proved Why Gun Is Still One of the Strongest in Lookism

The Hunt for Gun Park arc showed exactly how strong Gun Park really is. This arc reminded us that Gun is still one of the most dangerous characters in Lookism. He was given a critical mission by Charles Choi. Retrieve the Red Paper that contained proof of Charles Choi’s link to the Yamazaki clan. If that paper got out, it would destroy Charles’s name and everything he built.

Eugene Formed the Biggest Alliance to Stop Gun

At that point, almost everyone had turned on Charles Choi. The second-generation crew heads, the Workers, even James Lee and Goo Kim, all joined forces against him. Eugene promised James Lee that if he helped bring Charles down, he’d help clear his name in the murder case of Charles Choi. It was the biggest team-up in Lookism history, but Gun was standing alone.

Gun Took on the Second Generation Alone

Gun fought hundreds of Worker members without even getting scratched. Then he went on to take down the strongest leaders of the Four Major Crews, Jake Kim, Eli Jang, and Johan Seong. Mandeok was the only one who managed to break Gun’s bones, but even that cost him his own body. Gun still countered every move.

Even with a broken arm, open wounds across his body, and his chest completely damaged, Gun kept fighting. Johan almost beat him, but ended up tiring himself out while Gun stayed on his feet. Johan was basically defeated by himself in that moment.

He Showed His True Power in the Fight with Goo and Daniel

After taking out all the top second-generation fighters, Gun was still not done. Goo Kim showed up, and as they both said before, if they ever met again, it won’t be as friends, but they would kill each other, as Goo Kim was against Charles Choi now, and Gun Park was the only one protecting Charles Choi now.

He fought Goo Kim right after that and revealed his True UI mode, something we had never seen before properly.

Gun overpowered Goo and then took down Daniel Park’s second body, even while Daniel was using UI. Daniel Park’s perfect body in UI is top-tier, but Gun knew the weakness of his UI, so he handled it even though he gained consciousness and had a broken body.

This level of performance has never been shown in the series before. One man fighting the best fighters one after another and still winning. Gun never lost.

The arc ended only because Eugene called the police, and Gun was arrested for Charles Choi’s crimes. Charles took his own life in this arc.

If Gun and Kitae Kim Fought, It Would Be a Purely Brutal Fight

Gun Park is a tactical monster with technique, strength, and years of experience. But Kitae Kim is different. He’s more aggressive, older, and his entire life has been about killing and surviving. He has more real-life battle experience and does not hold back. Moreover, he is the son of Gapryong Kim, who was known as the King of the Underworld. That alone gives Kitae a terrifying bloodline advantage. Gun Park is the son of Shingen Yamazaki. Both Gapryong Kim and Shingen were rivals and opposing parties, however, Gapryong Kim’s fist gang was able to defeat the Yamazakis and made Gapryong Kim made Shingen Lethargic.

If Gun Park and Kitae Kim ever go head-to-head, it will come down to strength, endurance versus raw killer instinct. One is built by training and tactics, the other shaped by years of violence and murder. No matter who wins, it would be one of the most brutal fights in the series.

From what we have seen so far, Kitae Kim looks stronger than Gun in Lookism. But when it comes to Gun’s True UI, it is hard to say. Kitae might not be able to beat him there.
