As I predicted earlier in my speculative piece on Lookism Chapter 556, there was not really any fight between Kitae Kim and the kings. Instead, Gentleman jumped in and handled everything. The kings did not even resist much since they were not a match for the pre-generation “Gentleman“, they all ended up joining Kitae Kim’s side. Now they are working under him as subordinates.
Kitae Kim is being set up to take over as the new underground king, just like his father Gapryong Kim. But the difference is, that Gapryong went into politics later to protect South Korea, while Kitae Kim is going in the opposite direction. He is going to bring back that same chaos the pre-generation ‘fist gang’ once caused, the same kind of chaos that forced the Yamazakis to leave the country.
James Lee and Kitae Kim are also back working together now. Even after James called the cops on him earlier when Kitae went too far, it looks like they have patched things up. Their plan is back on track, and James Lee has now given Kitae a kill list.

Kitae Kim Recruited First Generation Kings in Lookism Chapter 556
Lookism Chapter 556 opens up with Kitae Kim speaking to the kings who showed up at his meeting. He tells them he wants to bring things back to how they were in the past. He believes Gapryong Kim made a mistake by joining politics, and that choice made him lose both the underworld and the political side. Now Kitae wants to take back everything his father failed to control.
This time, Kitae Kim plans to become the king of the underworld. But to do that, he needs powerful people under him. So he tells the regional kings that he wants obedience. Of course, this does not go well with them. These are the kings of their own regions in South Korea, so being told to become subordinates does not sit right with them. They go against Kitae Kim, but before things get serious, Gentleman steps in and takes them down easily. After that, he even agrees to follow Kitae Kim, and the others do too.
Some Kings Refuse to Join Kitae Kim
Not everyone showed up, though. A lot of other kings did not attend because they had no interest in joining Kitae Kim. When Kitae hears this, he asks which king is located nearest. Incheon was the closest, so it seemed like he was going to head there next, but the scene cuts to the other kings that Jake Kim went to talk with.
These included Taesoo Ma (Ansan King), Gongseob Ji (Daegu King), and Seokdu Wang (Suwon King). Jake was trying to form an alliance with them. But at first, they were not interested. They did not care about justice or getting involved in a fight.
However, Jinrang, the King of Busan who now has only one hand, thanks to Kitae Kim, agrees to join Jake. He claims that he is going to be the one who kills Kitae Kim.
Jake Kim also reveals that he does not want to fight Kitae Kim for justice. He is doing it because he has people he wants to protect in the underworld. If Kitae becomes king, they will all be in danger. After hearing this, the other kings agree to side with Jake Kim, especially since the Allied group is going to enter the war too.
Lookism Chapter 556 Concludes With James Lee Handing Kitae Kim A Kill List
On the other side, Kitae Kim and James Lee are working together again. Even after James had earlier reported Kitae to the police when he lost control, now they are back with the same plan. James says that if their plan is going to work, certain people need to be taken out. So he gives Kitae Kim a kill list, photos of people he needs to get rid of.
The list includes Eugene, Reporter Kim, and Tom Lee. Eugene has been looking into the murder of Gapryong Kim ever since he helped James escape from Charles Choi’s control. Tom Lee is also helping him. And from the Hunt for Gun Park arc, we learned that Reporter Kim was not hiding from Charles, it was someone more dangerous. Now it is confirmed that the person is Kitae Kim.
