Blue Lock’s Phase 2 called the Neo Egoist League has officially ended with Bastard Munchen winning the league. But the most awaited part is still left, the updated rankings and new salary reveal of the players.
Before the final match between Bastard Munchen and Paris X Gen, Rin Itoshi was ranked #1 with a bid of 198 million yen.
Isagi was at 150 million yen, tied with Baro, while Shido was below them with 100 million yen. Now, everyone is waiting to see who takes the No.1 spot after all the matches are over.
Blue Lock 295 Expected to Reveal New Rankings
Blue Lock 295 will likely show the results of the FC Barcha vs Manshine City match before revealing the new player rankings and salaries.
The Neo Egoist League was made to prepare players for the U-20 World Cup, with each Blue Lock player choosing one of five countries, Germany, England, Spain, Italy, or France, to train and compete in a league with top U-20 teams.
Their performance was ranked using the Blue Lock Auction, where real football clubs placed bids based on how well they played.
The top 23 players will move on to the next phase and join Japan’s U-20 team, while the rest will continue playing in their respective leagues but won’t be part of the national team.
Isagi or Rin Who Deserves the No.1 Spot?
Blue Lock Chapter 295 is titled “No.1” which makes it clear that the new top-ranked player will be revealed. Many fans think it should be Isagi, considering his incredible performance in the final match.
Isagi scored twice against Paris X Gen and was the main reason Bastard Munchen won. He put aside his rivalry with Kaiser and worked together with him to stop Rin’s attacks throughout the match.
Their teamwork also motivated the rest of their teammates. Because of this, many fans believe Isagi should be ranked No.1 and get a salary raise above 200 million yen.

On the other hand, Rin also played a key role in the final match of the Neo Egoist League. He was both attacking and defending for Paris X Gen, making him their most valuable player.
However, he missed several scoring chances, including the goals stopped by Igaguri’s foul tactics. Once he adapted, Isagi and Kaiser teamed up to counter him, and even when Rin found a way around their strategy, Kaiser still managed to solo defend against him in the end.
Charles and Karasu also played a big role in keeping the match balanced. Their teamwork in defense slowed down Isagi and Kaiser’s attacks, making sure Paris X Gen stayed in the game for as long as possible.
Who Will Take the No.1 Ranking in Blue Lock Chapter 295?
Rin definitely deserves a salary increase, but does he still deserve the No.1 spot? He was marking Isagi most of the match, even at the end he decided to gamble and went for Isagi, but could not predict his final move.
Isagi outplayed everyone in the last moments, intercepting Ness’s pass, something even Kaiser failed to do, and scoring the game-winning goal. So based on the final match, Isagi should be the new No.1.
