Zenshu Episode 4 Release Date and Preview: Memmeln Is Hiding Something

Since Zenshu is an anime-original and not based on a manga or light novel, it is hard to predict what happens next. But MAPPA drops a preview right after each episode, so we still get a hint of what is coming.

In the Zenshu Episode 4 Preview, we see Natsuko Hirose trying to spy on Memmeln, who seems to be behind the void attack in Episode 3. A mantis void disguised as a priest sneaked into the festival.

A new character, Destiny, is also introduced. She is the Mayor’s daughter, but since she has been super sheltered, she does not really know much about the world.

She and Luke instantly start liking each other. But Natsuko, who already knows what happens next (since she’s seen the movie so many times), reveals that Luke’s problems start after Destiny appears, and it actually seems to be true.

Despite Natsuko being jealous of Luke’s new crush, they both actually become friends in the latest episode.

The preview also shows Natsuko flirting with Luke Braveheart, and fans are hoping they end up together.

I mean, what better way to experience love than living inside your favorite movie and falling for the character you have always loved?

Natsuko’s whole mess started when she got assigned to a rom-com anime project about first love, but since she had zero experience in that, the project kept getting delayed.

She got so stressed about it, that she didn’t even check the expired food she ate… and, well, that’s how she ended up in this world. I have attached the Zenshu Episode 4 preview below:

As usual, Unio is narrating what happens in this preview. Here’s the full narration:

To Natsuko Hirose. I hasten to inform you that ever since we started living with you,

Luke keeps making weird dishes and doesn’t play with me anymore, causing me enormous amount of stress. I wish you’d digest some of Memmeln’s cuteness. Coming up next, ZENSHU “ETERNITY”.I can look at you forever, Memmeln! Memmeln!

What To Expect From Zenshu Episode 4

Zenshu Episode 4 is titled “Eternity.” In the latest episode, we saw a girl with green hair, wearing a hood, controlling a Void and turning it into a priest. So far, the only green-haired character we know is Memmeln, and she was acting super suspicious in this episode too.

Natsuko didn’t exactly say how the Void got inside, but she did mention that this wasn’t supposed to happen yet, it was supposed to happen later.

Unio was supposed to die in the anime movie A Tale of Perishing, but Natsuko saved him, which means she has already changed a big part of the story. Because of that, some things she remembers might not happen at all, or might happen earlier than expected.

From the preview, it looks like Natsuko already knows it was Memmeln, so she’s spying on her to figure out why she did it.
