Sakamoto Days is one of the most popular anime from Winter 2025. It is streaming exclusively on Netflix and is produced by TMS Entertainment.
The anime’s first season is confirmed to have two parts (cours). The first part has already concluded, and the second part will be released in July 2025. Just like the first part, the second one will also have 11 episodes, making a total of 22 episodes for Season 1.
The final episode of Sakamoto Days Part 1 aired on March 15 in Japan. Since Japan is one episode ahead, Episode 11 will be available globally on March 22.
Sakamoto Days Part 1 Ends at Chapter 37
The anime is currently in the Death Row Prisoners Arc. So far, only about one-third of the arc has been adapted. Sakamoto Days Part 1 ends at Chapter 37, which is titled Death Row Prisoner.
The latest episode introduced four dangerous criminals who escaped from a high-security prison in Asia. These death row inmates have now arrived in Japan with one mission, to eliminate Sakamoto and other assassins on the list.
