What Happened in the Previous Episode?
The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity Episode 5 titled “Premonition of a New Beginning“ mainly followed the issue between Rintaro and his friends.
Saku got upset after seeing Kaoruko’s note, but later explained that the anger was not because Rintaro was talking to someone from Kikyo Academy.
There was also a short scene at Rintaro’s family cake shop, where Kaoruko noticed something was off, but he could not tell her.
The episode ended with Subaru meeting Kaoruko in a park, and she mentions she would like to talk about Rintaro.

According to the official preview and synopsis, The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity Episode 6 will focus on Subaru and Kaoruko’s past. Subaru will meet Kaoruko in the park where they used to play and will talk about what she told Rintaro.
She admits to saying, “I don’t want you to see Kaoruko again” to Rintaro and apologizes for it. In return, Kaoruko brings up old memories from when they were younger.
Since Episode 5 skipped some chapters, The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity Episode 6 will likely include flashbacks from chapters 10 to 12.
