The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity Episode 4 showed Rintaro and Kaoruko meeting for their first study session at Rintaro’s bakery. They tried to be casual with each other and dropped the whole formal and polite way of speaking, and got a bit closer.

As soon as their study session ended, Subaru approached Rintaro after Kaoruko left. Subaru explained how being with Rintaro could ruin Kaoruko’s reputation and would create problems for her. She asked him to stay away from Kaoruko. Rintaro, however, did not agree.

Later, Rintaro passed his exams, but a note from Kaoruko was seen in his notebook by Saku. The episode ended on a cliffhanger.

The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity Episode 5 will pick up where things left off. Saku finds Kaoruko’s note and questions Rintaro, but Rintaro does not want to talk. This will create a conflict between them. Shohei and Ayato will try to figure out what is going on.

Kaoruko and Subaru will also have a conversation, where Subaru admits she told Rintaro to stay away. That scene will probably show more about how they feel and what they want to protect. Shohei, Saku, and Kento see Rintaro’s notebook containing a message from Kaoruko. When pressed, Rintaro refuses, saying “I don’t want to tell him,” and Saku is unable to hide his anger, creating a tense atmosphere.
Shohei and Kento want the two to make up, so when they ask Saku why he’s so angry, they get an unexpected answer.
