Solo Leveling Episode 24 will be released on Saturday, March 22, 2025, and it will finally bring the much-awaited fight between Sung Jinwoo and the Ant King.
With only two episodes left before the season ends, the anime is currently adapting the Jeju Island Arc, one of the most awaited arcs of the series.
This arc is also the longest in the webtoon, covering 18 chapters. So far, 10 chapters have been adapted, and only seven are left.
Solo Leveling Episode 24 Preview
The Ant King’s Rampage
In the previous episode titled ‘It’s Going To Get More Intense‘, the Ant King followed the plan like every other ant and stayed outside.
But nobody expected a monster like him to show up in the Jeju Island Raid. He went on a killing spree, easily taking down Japanese S-Rank hunters.
When he heard the dying screams of the Ant Queen, he rushed back and started destroying the Korean S-Rank hunters. He even killed the S-Rank healer Min Byung-Gyu.
Later, he sensed the presence of Goto Ryuji, Japan’s strongest hunter, and fought him too, killing him in the end. Out of the 16 S-Rank hunters who joined the raid, 10 were from Japan, and seven of them died in the last episode.
With the Korean S-Rank hunters injured and the ants closing in, all hope seemed lost. But just in time, Sung Jinwoo’s shadow soldiers appeared, standing between the hunters and the incoming ants. Using his shadow exchange ability, Jinwoo instantly teleported to Jeju Island.
Solo Leveling Episode 24 will show Jinwoo saving the remaining Korean hunters and taking on the Ant King, the strongest enemy Korea and Japan have faced so far.
When Will Solo Leveling Episode 24 Release?
According to the schedule shared by Crunchyroll and other streaming platforms, Solo Leveling Episode 24 titled ‘Are You the King of Humans?‘ will be released in Japan on 23rd March, Sunday, at 12:00 AM JST.
However, because of the time difference, the episode will be available earlier in regions like the USA and UK. It will be released on 22nd March, Saturday, at 9:30 AM PT. I have attached the complete release schedule of Solo Leveling Episode 20 below!

What To Expect From Solo Leveling Episode 24?
Sung Jinwoo will arrive at Jeju Island
Solo Leveling Episode 24, titled “Are You the King of Humans?”, will pick up right where the last episode ended.
Sung Jinwoo will use his shadow exchange ability to switch places with one of the shadow soldiers he placed on the S-Rank Hunters in case things went wrong.
He will arrive just in time to protect them from the ants, setting up a battle between Jinwoo’s shadow army and the Ant Army.
Sung Jinwoo vs the Ant King
During the fight, the Ant King will show up again and ask Jinwoo, “Are you the king of humans?” Their fight will shake the battlefield with massive mana waves.
While Jinwoo will easily overpower the Ant King, his attacks won’t do much damage at first due to the Ant King’s tough exoskeleton. But as the battle continues, Jinwoo will eventually break through it.
The Ant King will then try to poison Jinwoo, but since Jinwoo has debuff resistance, he will instantly detoxify himself and throw the Ant King away with just his hands.
Ant King Tries to Outspeed Jinwoo
Since Cha Hae-In is badly injured, Jinwoo will decide to end the fight quickly so he can get her off the island for treatment.
Seeing this, the Ant King will change tactics. Instead of relying on brute strength, he will try to turn the fight into a speed battle, flying above Jinwoo and showing off his insane speed. But he won’t realize that Jinwoo is just as fast.
During the battle, Jinwoo will mention that the Ant King might be stronger than the Demon King he fought in the Demon Castle.
But since he has leveled up a lot, he is way stronger now. His Mutilate ability will even get an upgrade mid-fight due to leveling up.
Shadow Army vs Ant Army
Realizing he can’t beat Jinwoo in a one-on-one fight, the Ant King will summon all the ants to attack. But Jinwoo will counter with Arise, summoning his shadow army to take them on. This will turn into an all-out war between the two armies.
The Ant King, seeing no way to win, will try to escape using the S-Rank healer’s ability to regenerate. But Jinwoo will slam him into the ground and finish him off, leveling up even more.
After the fight, Cha Hae-In’s condition will get worse. Jinwoo will think of many ways to save her, but none seem to work without risking her life. In the end, he will make a tough decision, turning Min Byung-Gyu into a shadow soldier so he can heal her.
Solo Leveling Episode 24 will adapt chapters 101 to 104 from the manhwa, covering the entire fight between Sung Jinwoo and the Ant King. The official synopsis of the episode describes the plot as:
Jinwoo rushed to Jeju Island and exterminated the swarm of winged ants, using potions to heal the wounds of the S-rank hunters. However, he was unable to heal Cha Hae-in, who had sustained injuries so severe that she had lost consciousness.
As they hurry to escape as soon as possible, a “black-winged ant” clad in an overwhelming aura once again stands in their way.
