Solo Leveling Episode 23 (Season 2 Episode 11) will be released on March 15. Since the second season is confirmed for 13 episodes, we only have three episodes left before the second season ends. The pacing has been really good, so it looks like the entire Jeju Island Arc will be adapted in this season.

The Jeju Island Raid is in Full Swing
The anime is now covering the Jeju Island Arc, and the 4th Jeju Island Raid has finally started. This time, 10 Japanese S-Rank Hunters and 6 Korean S-Rank Hunters joined forces to take down the ants once and for all. Their plan as revealed in the anime:
- The Japanese Hunters would lure the ants outside.
- The Korean Hunters would enter the nest and kill the queen.
Since ants only live for a year, wiping out the queen would mean no more new ants. That way, the S-Rank Gate, which caused the dungeon break, would stop being a problem within a year.
Everything seemed to be going according to plan, but there was one thing they did not prepare for, Ant King. Solo Leveling Episode 23 will feature Ant King vs S-Rank Hunters of Korea and Japan. Participants of Jeju Island Raid are listed below (till now):

Who is Ant King in Solo Leveling?
The Ant King is the strongest soldier created by the queen to protect her. What makes him really dangerous is his special ability called “Gluttony”. He can eat a hunter’s head and absorb their skills and knowledge.
The more hunters he kills, the stronger he gets. In the recent Episode 22, we only saw a baby version of the Ant King. But at the end of the episode, he killed Japanese S-Rank Hunter Akari Shimizu, and the episode ended on a huge cliffhanger.

Major Spoilers From Solo Leveling Episode 23
Will Ant King Absorb More S-Rank Hunters in Solo Leveling Episode 23?
The last episode ended on a huge cliffhanger, showing the evolved Ant King and his first kill—Akari Shimizu. The episode covered chapters 93 to 95 and most of chapter 96 from the manhwa.
Now, Solo Leveling Episode 23 will show the Ant King going after more Japanese S-Rank Hunters. Charlie Team will be the first ones to die.
But just when he’s about to continue the massacre, he will hear the Ant Queen’s death scream and immediately rush back to the nest.

Korean S-Rank Hunters vs Ant King
The next episode will finally show how terrifying the Ant King really is. Even with six Korean S-Rank Hunters fighting him, they won’t stand a chance.
He will head straight to the queen, mourn her death, and then defeat the hunters inside the nest, even killing one of the S-Rank Korean Hunters in the process.

Goto Ryuji vs Ant King
Before he can kill everyone, he will sense a strong presence, Goto Ryuji, the strongest hunter of Japan, and head straight toward him.
In the manhwa, Goto was killed almost instantly, even though he was stronger than all the other S-Rank Hunters. There is a small chance the anime might add a Goto vs. Ant King fight, but it’s not very likely.
Sung Jinwoo Arrives at Jeju Island
According to leaks from trusted sources on X (formerly Twitter), Solo Leveling Episode 23 will end on another huge cliffhanger.
The episode will conclude with Sung Jinwoo using “Shadow Exchange” to swap places with one of his shadow soldiers, the ones he secretly placed on all the hunters in case something went wrong during the Jeju Island Raid.
Why Didn’t Sung Jinwoo Join the Jeju Island Raid?
Since the start, Jinwoo’s only goal has been to cure his mother. That’s why, even as an E-Rank Hunter, he kept risking his life in dungeons just to make money.
But after his reawakening, he gained the ability to level up, which meant he could take on stronger dungeons and earn even more money.
The System that gave him this power also created an S-Rank Instant Dungeon where he could get an item to cure his mother, the Elixir of Life.
This item was said to heal any disease, so he had to defeat three powerful bosses in the Demon Castle to collect the materials to craft it.
After defeating all bosses, including Demon King Baran, he finally got the item and cured his mother.
With his main goal completed, Jinwoo wanted to stay with his mother since she had just woken up after years in a coma.
Besides, there were 16 S-Rank Hunters in the Jeju Raid, and everyone believed they could easily handle the mission.
No one expected a monster as strong as the Ant King to exist. That’s why Sung Jinwoo decided to sit this one out, until now.
Solo Leveling Episode 23 will be covering chapters 96, 97, 98, 99, and 100 from the manhwa.
