Witch Watch Episode 8 will be released on Sunday, May 25, at 5:30 PM JST on Netflix and Crunchyroll. Out of all the Spring 2025 anime, this one has been the most fun to follow, especially because of how well it handles comedy. It is based on the manga by Shinohara Kenta, and the anime is planned for 26 episodes in total.
Recap of Witch Watch Episode 7
In the last episode, Nico and Kanshi decided to start a YouTube channel and began uploading VLOG-style content from their daily life. They thought it would be a quick way to earn money by becoming influencers. But things did not go as they planned.
When Morihito Otogi checked their channel, he immediately pointed out the issues. Their views were almost zero, the subscriber count was too low, and the thumbnails were not appealing. On top of that, most of the engagement was just from their own friends, which Otogi said does not really count.
To help them out, Otogi introduces them to Keigo Magami, a guy who also runs a channel but posts random content like movie reviews or unboxing videos. He just uploads whatever he feels like. Even though his channel is not very big, it is still better than what Nico and Kanshi had going.
Otogi asks Keigo to help them with their content, and with his help, they manage to make a video that finally gets good viewership.
Suzuka’s Test and Otogi’s Help
The second part of the episode focuses on Suzuka Kiyomiya. She needed to pass a certain test in front of her grandmother, so she asked Otogi and Nico for help.
Otogi agreed and synchronized with her, but the test did not go well. She failed at first, but then a sudden accident happened, and thanks to that, Otogi was able to help her pass the test after all.

What To Expect From Witch Watch Episode 8?
The upcoming episode will focus on Kanshi again messing up his allowance. He spends it all and now has nothing left to help out at the Otogi household. Since he has been living there, he feels responsible.
To fix this, Otogi gives him a flyer for a part time job. It is for a role at the Akebono Amusement Park, where they need someone for a Hero Show. This is how Kanshi ends up looking for a way to earn money. The official synopsis for Witch Watch Episode 8 has also been released as well:
Kanshi was crying and clinging to Morihito because he had wasted the money he was sent home and now he had no money to give to the Otogi family. Morihito handed Kanshi a flyer advertising a part-time job at the hero show at Akebono Amusement Park.
