The popular series “I Became Friends with the Second Cutest Girl in My Class” (Kuranika), which has sold over 1 million copies, will be adapted into a TV anime. This adaptation will be released in 2026, and a teaser visual along with an anime adaptation PV has been released. The official website of the anime describes the story as:
Maehara Maki, a loner in class, has just made her first friend, Asanagi Umi.
She’s always the center of attention, and the other boys secretly call her
“the second cutest in class.” She lives in a different world than the loner Maehara Maki , or so you might think, but…
