Recap
Dandadan Episode 17 focused on the group trying to remove the Evil Eye from Jiji through a formal exorcism, but it did not work.
They found out that cold triggers the spirit, while heat keeps it away, which is why hot oden soup worked.
Momo asked Aira and Okarun to stay over at her house to help watch over Jiji, just in case things go wrong again.
While the group shared a fun dinner, one drop of soy sauce touched Jiji and triggered the Evil Eye again. The episode ended with the table flipping over as Evil Eye took over Jiji’s body again.

Dandadan Episode 18 Synopsis and Speculation
Dandadan Episode 18 will likely adapt chapters 52 to 55 from the manga. It will show the aftermath of Jiji losing control again.
The group now tries a new method to deal with the Evil Eye. They call in Hayashi performers who use traditional music to try and separate the spirit from Jiji.
The exorcism looks like it is about to work, but at the last moment, Jiji begs them to stop. He does not want the Evil Eye to be killed.
