Recap of Dandadan Episode 13 (Season 2 Episode 1)
Dandadan Episode 13 started directly with the continuation of the Cursed House Arc. Momo is attacked by the Kito Family at the hot spring but escapes thanks to Turbo Granny. Okarun and Jiji discover a sealed room filled with talismans, but both are taken down by the Kito Family, who are actually Jiji’s landlords.
Later, Momo fights the same men who stalked her earlier and defeats them. But then real threat joins the fight, the head of the Kito Family, throws her into the sealed room using a strong punch. The head of the Kito Family then reveals that the house is an altar used for sacrificing humans to a creature called Tsuchinoko, who is actually a Mongolian Death Worm.
The floor collapses, and everyone falls into the worm’s lair. The creature spares the trio and devours the Kito Family instead. The episode ends with Momo, Jiji, and Okarun hiding in an old structure underground, but Okarun starts transforming into turbo granny form, heading toward Jiji while in pain.
What to Expect From Dandadan Episode 14?
Dandadan Episode 14 will continue inside the lair of the Mongolian Death Worm. The preview reveals that for 200 years, the Kito Family had been feeding the cryptid to keep the nearby volcano from erupting.
Now, Momo and Okarun are under telepathic control, forcing them into a trance-like state where they nearly end their own lives. Jiji tries to save them, but the Death Worm is right in front of them. Just when it looks like there is no way out, Evil Eye shows up.
It turns out that for 200 years, the Kito family has been making offerings to the Mongolian Death Worm, the Great Serpent, and Jiji’s house was built on the altar. Jiji tries to stop Momo and Okarun, who are being controlled by telepathic waves, from committing suicide by picking them up and running away, but the Mongolian Death Worm is right in front of him. Just when it seems like there’s no hope, the Evil Eye appears.
Dandadan Episode 14 will likely adapt chapters 38-41 from the manga.
