Both teams don’t have many players from Blue Lock’s Phase 1:
- Manshine City: Nagi, Reo, Chigiri
- FC Barcha: Bachira, Otoya
In the last ranking, Bachira was at #5, and Otoya was at #10, as they have been playing well. But on the other hand, Manshine City has been struggling, with their key players underperforming.
Nagi has only scored one goal in the entire Neo Egoist League. Because of this, Nagi dropped to #11, and Reo dropped to #16 in the previous rankings. Manshine City has lost every match so far, and FC Barcha has not won either.
Despite this, Chigiri has been doing great. He was ranked #7 before and has scored three goals, with his latest goal coming against FC Barcha.
Nagi and Reo’s Last Chance to Prove Themselves
In Chapter 295, both Nagi and Reo realize that this match is their last chance to show their worth. If they don’t step up now:
- They might drop even lower in the rankings.
- They might not make it into the Top 23 players who will be selected for Phase 3 (U20 Japan World Cup team).
- Even if they barely make it, they will probably be sidelined and not get much playtime.
With this in mind, Reo managed to assist Chigiri, leading to a goal for Manshine City. But while this helps Chigiri, the Blue Lock auction system is all about individual players, not teams.
Even if Manshine City wins, it won’t really help Reo or Nagi. What they really need is to score goals and play well so clubs will bid higher on them and push their rankings up.
Getting into the Top 5 is not realistic for Nagi anymore, but he can still make a comeback into the Top 10, and Reo can climb back up with him.
Bachira Goal Is Expected In Blue Lock Chapter 296
Since Bachira was ranked #5, he has been doing great even though FC Barcha has been losing. He won’t take this goal lightly. There is a high chance that he will respond by scoring a goal or two in Blue Lock Chapter 296.
