A lot of fans were expecting the latest chapter to seal BM’s victory, but instead, things took a different turn.
No goal was scored and instead of BM concluding their counterattack, PXG flipped the script after Shidou pulled off an unexpected move.
Isagi and Kaiser are on the same wavelength, they do not even need to signal each other anymore. Their minds are in sync, making the same plays without speaking.
Their plan was good, and they left the final moment up to luck, and Kaiser won that gamble. However, they did not expect Shidou to link up with Rin.
Rin was locked onto Isagi in case Hiori passed to him, leaving Kaiser completely open. It should have been the perfect setup for BM’s victory when Hiori passed the ball to Kaiser, but Shidou went straight for him, helping Rin shut them both down.
Now, instead of BM taking control, PXG is on the counterattack. However, they did not expect Kunigami to show up and put a stop to their counterattack. Will Blue Lock’s wild card “Rensuke Kunigami” be able to stop this counterattack in Blue Lock Chapter 293?

Ness Finally Snaps Out of It
Ness has been obsessed with helping Kaiser become the best striker, but that is all he ever was, just Kaiser’s support. His entire identity in football was built around this.
But now, after messing up and costing Bastard Munchen a chance to win, Kaiser straight-up tells him to quit football because he is no longer needed.
This finally hits Ness hard. He realizes he can not keep playing for someone else, he has to evolve and play for himself.
There have been a lot of awakenings, but Ness’s might be the key to scoring the final goal.
Who Is the ‘New Hero’?
Blue Lock Chapter 293 title “Birth of a New Hero” could be talking about either Ness or Kunigami. Kunigami just stopped PXG’s counterattack, but it is still too early to tell since the ball is in the air, and the chapter ended on a cliffhanger.
Right now, Isagi and Rin are fighting for the ball, but if you look at the last panel, Ness is in a blind spot, nobody is watching him. This means there’s a good chance he will be the one to get the ball in the next chapter.
Will Ness Score or Assist?
Most likely, Ness will help with the final goal by passing to either Isagi or Kaiser. But there is a problem, Isagi is being blocked by Rin, and Kaiser has Shidou behind him. So, there is also a small chance that Ness will score the goal himself.

What Happened in Blue Lock Chapter 292 Spoilers?
The last chapter ended with Karasu blocking Hiori after Kaiser stopped Rin. A lot of fans thought the chapter title “Bad Luck” was about Ness messing up again but it was actually about Shidou, who managed to stop Kaiser at the last second.
Kaiser and Isagi’s Play to Outsmart Rin
Rin knows that as long as Kaiser and Isagi stay in sync, he has no chance of scoring the final goal. So, he tries to break their connection.
At the same time, Kaiser knows that if they can not get past Rin, there is no goal. If he and Isagi get separated, it is game over for Bastard Munchen. So, their focus is on outplaying Rin and finding the perfect pass.
Kaiser and Isagi start cross-running to mess with Rin’s focus. If Rin picks one of them, the other will get the goal. Kaiser is fully locked in, believing that this goal will push him to the next level.
Ness Breaks Down and Shidou Changes the Game
Meanwhile, Ness is falling apart. He realizes that Kaiser does not need him anymore. Isagi has taken his place even though Kaiser was never really his to begin with (not in a romantic way).
Ness has a self-realization moment, if Kaiser does not need him, maybe it is time for him to find a new purpose.
Back to Hiori and Karasu, Hiori looks for a way to pass to Isagi or Kaiser. Rin is locked in, knowing he can only stop one of them. He chooses his target, and Hiori makes his move. Rin charges at Isagi, leaving Kaiser open.
Hiori sees his chance and passes to Kaiser, thinking it is a sure goal for Bastard Munchen. But at the last second, Shidou jumps in, cutting off Kaiser’s path and intercepting the pass.
Now, Rin and Shidou team up for a deadly counterattack.
Kunigami Saved BM
PXG starts their counterattack, but Kunigami blocks them, using his body to stop their play. The chapter ends with the ball in the air, Rin on Isagi, and Shidou and Kaiser clashing.
