Blue Lock Chapter 314 was split into two parts. The first part only had 10 pages and ended with Isagi about to receive the ball.

It will be available to read on Kodansha’s K Manga app and Pocket Shonen Magazine in Japan. There is no new chapter next week as the manga is on a break.

Blue Lock Chapter 314 titled “Nucleas Part 1” starts with Aiku watching how Nigeria is playing. He says it is just like the simulations they practiced. Nigeria is using raw physical strength to force tough passes and push through the defense. Their whole playstyle is focused around one player, Onazi, the ace striker.

Aiku compares it to Japan’s side and notes the difference. Nigeria is playing through one target. But Japan has multiple egoists who can all score, which gives them more flexibility.

As Nigeria tries to counterattack, Japan immediately responds. Isagi and Reo press together. Their timing is so fast that Kuso, Nigeria’s captain, gets surprised.

Kuso passes to Onazi, but Karasu intercepts it easily and mocks him by calling him an amateur. He has already read the move. That is when Nigeria realizes Japan is already adapting. And it has only been two minutes into the match.

Now we see Karasu acting like he will pass to Hiori. The Nigerian defense reacts to stop Hiori, but that was just a trick. Karasu was a decoy.

Instead, the ball goes wide to Chigiri, who takes off at full speed down the sideline. He beats his defender and sends in a cross pass to Rin Itoshi.

The cross is blocked, but Isagi had already predicted this. He moves to the exact spot where the ball is about to bounce. He says in his head, “It is mine”.
