Recap of Dandadan Episode 16 (Season 2 Episode 4)
Dandadan Episode 16 continued from the volcano eruption. Momo used the body of the Mongolian Death Worm like a giant hose to control the magma. Then the Kito Family tried to stop her for interfering with what they called their god. Just when things were getting worse, Evil Eye returned.
Seiko Ayase arrived with Taro and the Dover Demon to help. She planned to seal the yokai. Taro trapped the Evil Eye in his body while the shrine priest Manjiro chanted a sealing spell. After that, Momo and the others used the alien ship to save Okarun from the lava. The episode ended with Momo and Okarun reuniting.
What To Expect From Dandadan Episode 17 (Season 2 Episode 5)?
The official synopsis of Dandadan Episode 17 has been released! Momo manages to bring Okarun back. Everyone gets home safe but they find out that Jiji is still possessed by the Evil Eye.
Hot water makes him go back to normal, while cold water brings the Evil Eye back. To stay on guard, Aira decides to stay overnight with them at Momo’s place.
This episode will conclude the Cursed House Arc and also begin the Evil Eye Arc. According to the official synopsis of Dandadan Episode 17:
Momo succeeds in rescuing Okarun. Momo and the others return home safely, but discover that Jiji is still possessed by the evil eye, and that if they pour cold water on him, he regains his evil eye, and if they pour hot water on him, he reverts back to Jiji. Momo and Okarun return to their normal lives, but as a countermeasure against the evil eye, Aira joins them and they decide to stay the night at Momo’s house.
