The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity Episode 4 titled “Heart Temperature” is releasing this weekend in Japan, and just like the past few weeks, the rest of the world will get it a bit later. The episode will be out in Japan on July 27, 2025, at 1:00 AM JST, only on Netflix Japan. Asian International viewers, including India, Indonesia, Pakistan, and others, will have to wait until August 3, 2025, for the episode to arrive on their Netflix.
This is still part of Netflix’s delayed release pattern for this anime, and global viewers outside Asia will get the episode much later.

What Happened in The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity Episode 3
The previous episode focused on the midterm exams. Rintaro and Shohei were told that if they fail, they will miss the school’s sports festival. Since both of them are bad at studying, they tried asking their best friends for help. It did not go well.
Later, Rintaro met Kaoruko in the library, and she offered to help him study. Just when things were getting better, Kaoruko’s friend Subaru Hoshina showed up and tried to pull Kaoruko away from Rintaro. Rintaro’s friends showed up as well.
The episode ended with Kaoruko and Rintaro becoming a little closer, and Subaru sitting alone, thinking about the past.

The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity Episode 4 will show Rintaro and Kaoruko meeting at a cafe for their first study session. This will be the first time they talk more casually instead of using polite language. Rintaro will also open up about why he wants to pass the exams. He wants to enjoy the sports festival with his friends.
Subaru’s Confrontation
At the end of the study session, Subaru will stop Rintaro and directly tell him that she does not want him to meet Kaoruko anymore. The episode will likely show Subaru’s reasons and past connection with Kaoruko, which might explain her behavior so far. According to the official synopsis of the episode:
As Rintaro is about to head home after the study session, he is suddenly stopped by Subaru. Subaru tells Rintaro, “I don’t want you to see Kaoruko again.”
