TBATE anime just finished its first season with Episode 12, and even though the adaptation didn’t land well, Season 2 is officially confirmed. According to Crunchyroll and the anime’s official site, The Beginning After The End Season 2 will be released in Spring 2026. A special illustration was also released along with this news.

Despite heavy criticism for its animation, TBATE still managed to gain good numbers on streaming platforms. Studio A-Cat, the same studio behind Season 1, will return for Season 2.
This raised concerns again since the animation in Season 1 was below average. Most scenes lacked fluid motion, proper frame pacing, and consistent direction. Even the finale felt more like a rough slideshow than a finished anime episode.
TurtleMe, the creator of the original manhwa, still showed optimism after the announcement. He said he looks forward to sharing more of Arthur’s journey on-screen and acknowledged that the team is focused on growth and improvement for the next season.
