The Beginning After The End (TBATE) Episode 4 will be released on April 23rd, 2025. In the last episode, we saw Arthur Lewyin getting saved by Sylvia, the dragon-like being, after he fell off a cliff trying to save his mom, Alice. But a lot of fans pointed out that this part was changed from the manhwa.
In the manhwa, Arthur was not directly saved by Sylvia. Instead, she kind of called out to him, and he found her on his own. She ended up training him and became a mentor figure, kind of like how Jiraya was to Naruto.
But in the anime, Arthur just wakes up in front of her with no proper explanation or time skip, and they did not show how long he stayed with her either. In the manhwa, it was shown clearly that he was there for around four months.
The whole four-month part was rushed in the anime. Sylvia, in the end, created a portal to send Arthur back. TBATE Episode 4 previews have been released as well, I have attached them below!

TBATE Episode 4 titled “I’ll help you, King” will be released on 23rd April 2025 at 7:30 AM PT in the USA and UK regions. While in Japan, the episode will be released at 11:30 PM JST.
The episode will be available on Crunchyroll for international users, and in Japan, the episode will be released on Fuji TV as well. I have attached the complete release schedule below:

What To Expect From The Beginning After The End (TBATE) Episode 4
TBATE Episode 4 will pick up with Arthur back on land. At the end of the last episode, he heard something. In the next episode, Arthur is gonna find some slave traders holding a girl captive. The episode will focus on him saving her and then deciding to go with her to take her back home. The official synopsis for the episode is also out now.
After parting ways with Sylvia, Arthur hears a girl’s scream in the forest. He rushes to the source of the voice and finds the elven girl Tessia being held captive by slave traders. With Sylvia’s words in his heart, “Light for a new life…” Arthur sets out to fight alone…
