Blue Lock Chapter 300 spoilers are finally here, and the Neo Egoist League Arc has concluded. It was one of the most emotional chapters of the entire Blue Lock series. After Ego told the players who did not make the top 23 to “lock off” (he said “f*ck off” but you get the point), the latest chapter focuses on the emotional goodbye between Nagi and Reo according to the alleged spoilers.
Reo climbed up from rank 16 to 7 and made it into the final 23 players heading to the U-20 World Cup team. Nagi, however, did not make it. He could not score or assist in his last match against FC Barcha.
He passed to Reo in the final moments, but Bachira stole the pass and scored, leading Manshine City to lose. Nagi’s performance throughout the Neo Egoist League had been underwhelming, especially after his match against Bastard Munchen. He scored and beat Isagi, but even though Manshine lost that match too, Nagi felt satisfied after that goal.

Nagi Became Too Comfortable After Beating Isagi
The real problem for Nagi was that after he beat Isagi, he never really pushed himself again. His fire just burned out. Another issue was that he relied way too much on Reo, especially when it came to passing. Both of them joined Blue Lock together, and Reo was the one who pushed Nagi to join in the first place. Before the Neo Egoist League, Nagi was ranked #4, and after his match against Bastard Munchen, he moved up to #2. Isagi was ranked #4 at the time but ended up claiming the top spot, tied with Rin. Nagi, however, deranked all the way down to #24 and got kicked out of Blue Lock.
To Reo, with whom I shared a dream, there is something I want to tell you.

Nagi Realizes Ego Is Right in Blue Lock Chapter 300
Blue Lock Chapter 300, titled “Innocent”, picks up right where the last chapter left off, with Nagi calling out to Reo. In the previous chapter, Reo begged Ego to reevaluate Nagi’s ranking, but Ego harshly shut him down, saying that Nagi’s fire was gone and that he was done.
Nagi tells Reo that Ego’s right. He admits that after beating Isagi, he felt satisfied and never looked for more. That is the main reason he has fallen so far. But Nagi does not regret it. He fulfilled his dream of beating Isagi, and another dream of his was to play football with Reo forever. But that was not enough to keep him going in Blue Lock, where only the most ego-driven survive.

Nagi Apologizes to Reo
Nagi starts reflecting on the past and wonders if he had not relied so much on Reo when he scored against Isagi’s Bastard Munchen, would things have turned out differently? He apologizes to Reo for not being able to find a new dream, for not reigniting his fire, and for not trying harder in the match against FC Barcha (trying on his own instead of passing it to Reo).
Meanwhile, Reo can not stop crying over Nagi’s departure and says that Nagi does not need to apologize. Reo knows that Nagi never really loved football, he was just tagging along with Reo’s dream to be the best together. Reo apologizes for pushing Nagi so hard to achieve that dream. But Nagi felt happy during the time he spent with Reo. He discovered new sides of himself while playing with Reo.
Even though he is leaving Blue Lock, Nagi says he got fired up. He finally understands what winning feels like, and it’s something he never felt before. Reo gave him the light in his life, the drive to keep going, even though everything felt like a bother to a person like him. For Nagi, that was the most valuable thing he could have gotten, and that is the greatest treasure of his life.

The Last Goodbye Between Nagi and Reo
As Nagi walks away, there is a panel showing the World Cup trophy slowly fading away, showing how his dream of becoming the world’s best with Reo is now out of reach. Reo keeps crying while watching him leave. Nagi says, maybe if they had never talked and just passed by each other, Reo could have become an even better player. Then he says, “Our dream of becoming the best together ends here.”
While heading towards the exit, Nagi gently pats Reo’s head one last time and says:
Goodbye, Reo. You are on your own from now on. Become the best in the world!
At the same time, Isagi, who also tried to plead to Ego for Nagi in the last chapter, yells, “Nagi, don’t quit soccer!”
