Sakamoto Days Episode 11 will be released on March 15 on Netflix Japan. This episode will conclude Part 1 of Season 1, and Part 2 is set to release in July 2025, as confirmed by the producers. Both parts are listed for 11 episodes each.
Wutang Challenges Sakamoto and Shin
In the last episode, the Death Row Prisoners Arc started, and it looks like it will continue into Part 2. A new character showed up, Lu Wutang, a member of the Triad that was once led by Lu Shaotang‘s parents.
Since there is no leader now, Wutang came to convince Lu to return and take charge. At first, he tried using force with another Triad member, but with Sakamoto and Shin around, there was no chance of that working.
Wutang decided to talk things out. But since Lu is happy working at Sakamoto’s store, she refused to go back. That is when Wutang challenged them, but not in a fight.
Sakamoto and Shin were ready to throw hands, but Wutang had something else in mind. The challenge would be a contest, mafia style.
Wutang made them an offer, if they win, he will reveal the name of the person who put a bounty on Sakamoto.
But Sakamoto and Shin were not interested. They said they’d find out on their own and did not want Lu to get involved. But Lu accepted the challenge to help them.
The Casino Challenge Begins
Wutang then took them to the contest area, which turned out to be a casino. Since they did not have much money, he gave them 30 million yen worth of chips. The challenge turns out to be that whoever makes the most money in two hours wins.

As Netflix Japan is one episode ahead, Sakamoto Days Episode 11 will be released on 15th March 2025 at 10:30 PM JST in Japan.

What To Expect From Sakamoto Days Episode 11?
Sakamoto Days Episode 11 will continue Wutang’s casino contest and cover the rest of his parts from the manga (Chapters 35 and 36).
The last episode slowed things down a bit, adapting only two chapters while skipping one. This time, the episode will likely conclude Wutang’s challenge and move on to Chapter 37, titled “Death Row Prisoner”.
This is where things get serious. The four escaped death row inmates will finally be introduced. At the end of the contest, Wutang will finally reveal what everyone pretty much expected, that Slur put the bounty on Sakamoto. However, it is still not 100% confirmed if he is the real mastermind.
Wutang will also talk about a maximum security prison in Asia, where these four prisoners were locked up before faking their deaths.
The episode will introduce the four new killers:
- Dump
- Saw
- Apart
- Minimalist
Kashima (the sub-ordinate of SLUR) has given them a hit list, and Sakamoto is included in that list.
