The romcom anime My Love Story with Yamada-kun at Lv999 aired from April 2 to June 25, 2023, with a total of 13 episodes.
It is based on Mashiro’s manga of the same name and quickly became a favorite anime for many. Now there are alot of fans curious about My Love Story with Yamada-kun at Lv999 Season 2.
The manga, which started on Ganma! in 2019, came back in October 2024 after a long break because of the author’s health.

Will There Be My Love Story with Yamada-kun at Lv999 Season 2
Currently, there is no official confirmation about My Love Story with Yamada-kun at Lv999 Season 2. New chapters are coming out slowly (a total of 108 chapters are released), but there is already enough content for a second season since Season 1 ended at Chapter 41 of the manga.
Romance anime don’t usually get fully adapted, so it’s hard to say if this one will be any different. Moreover, it is only been a year since the first season came out, so it’s still too soon to know. But I am hopeful we will get a second season!
Madhouse, the studio behind Frieren, also worked on My Love Story with Yamada-kun at Lv999. Since Madhouse does not have any major anime projects lined up for 2025, there is a good chance they might announce Season 2 sometime next year.
Moreover, there is a live-action movie of My Love Story with Yamada-kun coming next year on March 28, 2025, in Japan. A teaser trailer was released last month along with a key visual and staff news.
